Came here to get a birthday gift certificate for my sister, the people here were SNOBS. I checked out the prices because I was interested in getting something nice done for myself. I'm a hairdresser myself and I could not believe the price range. I don't even think Chicago prices are that high! Come on people it's Northwest Indiana! Not CHICAGO!

I have been a customer at Vanis for years and will be for life! Vaska provides high-quality facials. She listens to your concerns and individualizes each treatment to your skin care needs. Julianna has cared for my hair for a couple years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome every time I leave the chair. Scheduling flexibility is sometimes an issue, but they make a valiant attempt to get you what you need.

I had a $70 full set of gel nails put on Friday afternoon. THE VERY NEXT MORNING a nail FELL OFF-NOT CHIPPED BUT FELL OFF!! I called and of course the girl that did my nails was not there. They did have another tech repair the nail. All good til about 3 hours later when ANOTHER nail FELL OFF- AGAIN NOT CHIPPED BUT FELL OFF!! OK NOW the salon is CLOSED and my doing is Sunday!!! GREAT!

I have gone to many different places for waxing and Vaska is the absolute best!!!! If you’re looking for quality, clean, and detailed waxing this is the place and Vaska is the person to ask for.

Manicurist seemed like she was in a rush, she said she would send me home with a buffer and nail file but did not. She cut my finger and could not find the product to make it stop. My finger bled for over an hour after my nails were done.
