Lisa is an awesome manicurist and so convenient when staying at the Hampton Inn nearby. My daughter and I didn't have to wait. She has a great variety of nail Polish colors (OPI and Essie). My daughter was nervous and asked a lot of questions, but Lisa answered her so kindly.

I am writing my first review because I think it's only necessary to WARN future customers. Lisa is kind, and unlike most nail shops I've been to, chats with her customers. The service she gave is why I gave one star. I have short, bitten nails and acrylics help me stop nail biting. I went to Lisa's because she is close and my grandma's friends are loyal customers. I made a bad decision by not looking at her reviews prior to going in. I called ahead and made sure she could do a full set.
I am so upset about this I could type forever so here's a list of my complaints:
She glued the nails on crooked
I asked for a more square shape but she kept rounding the nail off and they were already too short that I just stuck with the shape.
She cut my cuticles and when they bled she stopped the bleeding by putting nail glue on my cut.
When she put the polish she kept touching to see if they were dry and wrinkled the nail. when I asked her to fix it she did so by applying more layers of polish on my nails that were already thick. She then put a gel so the layers would dry faster.
I couldn't even look at my nails because I was so upset. After my dear grandma payed $30 for my nails and we left the shop, I saw there were bubbles under the polish and none of my nails were left smooth. Later throughout the day I could see the paint started to chip. Gel isn't supposed to chip!
I'm very unhappy and never plan on going to Lisa's again.
