I was in San Antonio for a short overnight. Due to my hectic work schedule, I hadn’t had time to get my nails done before heading out of town. I made an appointment at DASA for a dip removal and dip extension placement. I was staying at the Westin Riverwalk so I walked down the Riverwalk to the Hyatt. It was 95 degrees so to say the least, I was ready to pamper myself a bit after the walk in the hot sun. I was excited to try the spa’s service. I do come to San Antonio often so if they did a good job, I would definitely return. I walked in and at first the gentleman at the desk said he couldn’t find me on the schedule. I showed him the email I received with confirmation. After a few minutes of him looking at his computer, the story changes to they overbooked. Regardless, they couldn’t do my nails. Normally I wouldn’t bother to post a review. I understand things happen, but it was obvious he first was lying and didn’t want to just tell me they made a mistake. Not cool. Just tell the truth! Oh well, maybe I was saved from a overpriced service ($110 for removal and reapply dip nails) and according to other reviews, dip nails are not their forte.

I had a wonderful time getting my nails done. After a long drive to San Antonio, I had a relaxing mani/pedicures done in the afternoon after my arrival. Elvira treated me so nice with great conversation, complimentary wine and a wonderful foot massage. It will be be my go to place when I visit San Antonio.

Chris and ariesta are the best massage therapist in the business. Speaking at a LMT i know what I'm talking about. If your staying in san Antonio for a couple of nights or are a local who needs a new lmt, these are your people. They also do nails, facials, and a few add ons. Highly recommend:)

The experience itself was great. The staff is extremely friendly and the environment was very relaxing. I enjoyed my massage and the wine. Unfortunately, the manicure I received wasn’t the best. I wanted dip, but they don’t offer it. I settled for shellac and 3 days later it’s starting chipping away. I was extremely disappointed.
