Being a good tipper sure pays off at Shayla Salon. I had a great gel manicure with Katie, and booked a pedicure for the following weekend. When I came to my appointment (late - I'm so ashamed), Katie was very happy to see me.
She noticed my fingernails weren't as shiny as her standards required and offered a complimentary touch up. She tried the Axxium topcoat, and still wasnt satisfied. She worked until they were perfect again, no charge. Fantastic! I love people with standards.
I'm moving to Seattle, but will probably make the trek out this way just to keep going to Katie

I have known Shayla the owner for 14 years only because she did such a great job on my nails 14 years ago when she worked for another shop in the mall. I have followed her to every salon she ever went to and visit her now in her own shop. I made a huge mistake of going somewhere else today and now know WHY I kept going to Shayla. Her staff and herself are AMAZING!!! I took my 2 year old son with me to another salon and it was horrible! Shayla always does an amazing job on my nails, and waxing, and they dont mind when I bring my son. Her salon is ALWAYS clean and friendly. I never wrote a review because honestly I forgot how bad other salons are.... until today. I will continue to make the drive from Marysville to go to Shaylas Salon and never again attempt someone closer just because they are closer!
If you ever get a chance to try this salon do it! It is well worth it!
