Today on June 26, 2018 I go in as soon as the salon opens. Since I have been a customer for years I have had good service until today. Today I lady did my nexgen nails great and then put a half of bottle of oil on my hands. She tells me to go wash and did. I pay my bill and walk two steps out the door and notice two of my nails are smugged. I go back in (two steps) and ask them to fix it.
The gentleman that is always at the front desk looks at my nail and tells me to sit and he looks at them. He tells me I messed them up by washing my hands and drying them. I told the man I had so much oil on my hands and was told by the lady to wash. Plus I was not going to be able to leave like that and get out all over the place. He fixes them and then the lady working on nails next to me tells me not to do anything for 5 minutes so I don't mess up my nails again.
By this time I am pissed. You don't treat repeat customers that has been going there for 4 years like that! If you don't want people to wash there hands then don't put a half of bottle of oil on the hands! Maybe it is time to find a new nail salon that has some proper customer service.

Best nails in McKinney. Long term employees know what they are doing. Tried the rest. This is the best.

As a parent with young kids & art teacher I’d given up on NexGen.
They would always break and lacked quality.
I went to this salon a few times and was content with different people each time.
But one time I received Diane, the owner, as my technician- and I’ve had nails by her for years.
Her appointments are never rushed- ever.
She will clean from under your nail and match each hand/nail precisely, provide a thorough arm and hand massage after. Her quality of work lasts me 3-5 weeks... I used to have to go every 2 weeks elsewhere.
Booking appointments in person or on phone is easy- they have a wonderful receptionist, Tessa.

I use to go here frequently and stopped after a bad pedicure. Went last weekend to try it again after getting a gift card and my toenails were cut way back on the big toe until painful! My daughter is now dealing with an infection in her big toe. Ugh

Horrible, was forced to pay for a service I didn’t even ask for. And was accused of adding it to the form. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
