Last time I had a prescription called in, I went to store, and did all of my grocery shopping, thinking that would give them time to fill it. Nope! I still had to wait 1/2 hour with groceries in the car. Yesterday, I had eye surgery. They said I had no prescription for me. I called surgeon this morning. They called it in AGAIN!
I called pharmacy this afternoon, and they said to give them 20 minutes to check voice messages! It is now Friday afternoon and need to make sure I get my steroid eye drops that I should have had yesterday, and. Of have to wait until Monday!

Employees at this Meijer told us SPECIFICALLY “We have to order it in, we’ll order it and it will be here tomorrow,” - about medicine for influenza. I trusted them, but they were actually only waiting to SEE IF the medicine was in the next day’s normal shipment. It wasn’t, so we were told the next day, so then I took tter into my own hands, we called around, found out walgreens had the medicine, waded through Meijer’s ineptitude in relaying the prescription information, and finally got everything to Walgreens, where they spent 20 minutes On the phone advocating for me, navigating the byzantine process.
Meijer couldn’t even spare the breath of an additional sentence to clarify what was ACTUALLY going on.
Meijer also cost us the early treatment window, because we waited patiently and did what they told us to do, we missed the initial 24-48 hour treatment for treating influenza with this medicine, so now my wife is just sick and miserable, and worry with each new attack of hacking, racking, painful coughing if my sweetie will be one of the unlucky few healthy people to die the the flu this year.
I am SO MAD at Meijer for this. For misleading me, for telling me to wait on an incredibly time sensitive medication, for being slow and reticent to transfer thr prescription to another pharmacy.
DO NOT go to Meijer unless you have NO OTHER CHOICE. I never thought Walgreens would be on my recommendations list, but the Walgreens in Gaylord has a caring, fantastic staff that helped me do what I could to fix Meijer’s incompetent handling of my case.

Called on a Sunday about a refill, said they would contact Dr office. Had a death in the family and forgot about it, when I called the following Sunday, no prescription, they said they would call the Dr again. I contacted the Dr office and they said they had nothing from the pharmacy. Later that day I got a notice that the pharmacy had contacted the doctor ( after my 3rd contact with them) . I finally figured out that they give you notifications when they contact a Dr . My recommendation is to not trust them to call about refills do it yourself

Was way cheaper than any other pharmacy and the only one to have my prescription in, didn't have to wait a month.

Every month consistently out of Thyroid meds usually have to go a day or two without meds which is extremely hard on your thyroid. Going back to Local Pharmacy even tho more expensive. Also texting system is very inaccurate also . Drive 1/2 hour to pick up Prescription and they wont have it, although I was notified by text it was in!!!
