I really enjoyed my experience with Rita (owner). We spoke like old friends, shared the same views, and she prefected my "not so perfect" hair style.
Her shop has a comfortable vibe; styled with product and beautiful jewelry. I would recommend this salon in Aspen!

I drive all the way from Lakewood to Queen B to get my hair done. I trust Rita so much that I let her take creative license to do as she pleases -- instead of telling her what I think I want. Her vision of my hair should be is always classier, prettier, sexier, and easier than what I would would have picked. I am constantly getting compliments on my color and style, often 6 weeks after my last visit.
I have no idea why these other people had issues, but people really do fly in from all over the world to have this award winning stylist work on their heads!

I went to Queen B because my sister got a hair cut there. We both have thick curly hair and my sister said they did a great job. Well unfortunately my experience was not the same. I was at the salon for a total of 25 minutes - wash and cut and then she sent me on my way with a wet head in the middle of winter. She didn't even ask me how much to take of or what i wanted or if i wanted her to style it...i was shocked and pissed. In the end the hair cut sucked and the experience is something i would have expected from some low-end chain salon. $75.00 later. OUCH

I have been having my hair done by Rita for the last 10 years and wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. It's worth it. Not only is she a master at cut and color but she uses products that don't damage my hair. When I first saw her my hair was super damaged, brittle, and broken. Now it's long and healthy and still the blonde color I love. My mom drives all the way from Steamboat Springs to have her hair done there, too. She is the best!!
