Went to Kathy to get a gel manicure because I saw an advertised special on Facebook. I like supporting small businesses and the personal attention you get. Kathy was super nice and asked lots of questions to get to know me. She tried different polishes on my nails because I couldn't decide on a color. I thought that was so kind and generous of her to do. After talking with me about what I do daily she put some extra coats of protection polish on my nails so they would last longer. The customer service was excellent and I was very happy with the finished product. So I'm giving 4 stars instead of five for only one reason. The cleanliness of the salon was not great. Things were kind of piled up and dust from nail filing was all over the work spaces. Half empty soda bottles we're lying around. It didn't seem to be wiped down or cleaned up in quite a while. There was even some nail clipping on the table where I was getting my nails done. I'm a little bit of a clean freak but I felt like this was unsanitary and potentially dangerous. I hope with my review the owners will clean up a bit and work on a routine clean up process after each customer. Again I was pleased with the service and I will try the place again.

I guess we should have checked the reviews before going. We did not have an appointment; my sister and I. Walked in to one lady standing outside the open door smoking, wearing a blue shirt. It appeared that one nail tech was inside doing a young girls nails. She rudely asked what we needed as if we were bothering her. She moved her Wendy’s bag of food off of her large calendar as she sighed and looked at the older lady standing outside the door smoking. We felt very unwanted so my sister stated it was ok and we could just go somewhere else. The older lady at the door yells as we were walking away “that was rude!” We were nowhere near as rude as we should have been. I wouldn’t give these clowns my money to save my life. Don’t go there!
