They'll do your nails and they are super friendly, but they'll turn around and charge you an arm and a leg just for you to go back in three or four times a week to get them fixed. This has happened to me more than once.

Well I’m a visitor from Dallas and I always get gel, they want to charge extra 10 for gel polish which I’m already paying for, very unhappy with the prices and the service. All I want was a fill with gray and pink polish. If the company bring me back down here I will not be going back to them😡

I live in Las Vegas but was in Gillette for business and decided to get my nails and toes done at Davi Nails on Wed 12/6/17. I am a licensed cosmetologist that does my own nails sometimes at home. My nails are stiletto shaped and long so the main thing I ask is that they are not thin bc they will easily break. I told this to the lady that did my pedi and she recommended Steven Nguyen to do my nails. Before he does my nails I asked him to do them thicker he said ok. I actually liked my nails when he was done but I knew immediately that they were to thin and would most likely crack, but I still paid the $135 for my fill and pedicure and I tipped him $15 and tipped the lady that did my pedi $10. On my way driving out of town the next morning, I noticed 2 nails cracked. I turned my car around and went back to get my nails fixed.
When I went back to the shop Steven told me he will not fix my nails, it's not under warranty to fix because he only did a fill. ( even though my nails broke less that 24 hours after he did them) So he told me the only way he would fix them is if I take my nails off and pay him to do a full set. I was appalled that he would try to test my intelligence not knowing that this is also my profession so I knew better than to accept the lie he was trying to tell me just to get more money out of me. I then told him to just fix the nails he broke and I would leave. He got very angry and told me no and caused a big scene in the salon. So I just walked away and sat down and asked his co worker if I can pay him to fix my nails. This made Steven even more angry. He tried to tell me no but the co worker accepted my offer. So I patiently waited for the co worker to finish his client so I can pay to get my nails done again. Finally when the co worker got to me, it seemed as if Steven was trying to get him to do extra work that made him constantly have to stop working on me to do other clients. I still patiently waited.
4 hours later my nails were finally fixed. I didn't get the name of the gentleman that fixed them for me but I wish I had because he did a amazing job. They charged me $35 dollars and I tipped the gentleman $65 dollars. It was never about the money to me. But when you work in the beauty industry it is very important to stand by your work and if you mess up you fix it. I am a great client and an awesome tipper. You don't treat people this way. So I just want everyone to know. If you go to Steven at Davi Nails in Gillette and your nails break in less that 24hrs he does not feel like he's obligated to fix them. He is also very unprofessional when there is a disagreement. Arguing with paying customers is never ok.
