I regularly get gel manicures and this was my first time visiting Hong Nail. I went for a matte polish and within three days, all of the edges had lifted and it peeled off. I've never seen this before. I would have gone back in to have them fix it, but I had to go out of town for the event that I got my nails done for (without my nails done). So disappointing and I'd recommend heading elsewhere that uses better quality polishes or procedure.

Paid $73.00 plus tip for a powder tip that started peeling/chipping off after about 10 days. The lady who worked on my nails argued with me when I asked her to cut my cuticles down more. They looked good for about 5-6 days then about a week and a half later I peeled them off because they were getting caught in my hair, clothes, etc. Maybe they're better with their regulars?

Avoid! I’ve been dealing with the bad manicure they gave me ever since I had it done at the end of august. They filed down my natural nails so much that it was painful and I have to file them down to a nub as they grow. My nails are usually strong and long but where they filed them down they are growing out brittle and peel and break as they grow. You can literally see the line as they grow. A couple more weeks and my nails should be back to full strength.
Don’t use Hong nails. Don’t do that to yourself!
I have them a chance to fix via e-mail twice and finally in person. They confirmed they got my emails and just didn’t reply. Would not refund or offer a nail repair service. They only cared about retaining my money. Finally offered a $15 discount off my next manicure. As if I’d use them again! I have photos of my nails for proof and kept the receipt.

The worst nail salon experience ever. I got a gel manicure on Friday and by Sunday three nails had chipped. When I went in to get it fixed the manicurist started filing my chipped nails to the nub and until asked her to stop and had to ask a few times to tell her to take off the gel and reapply the color. After she put the gel on my thumb nail it was all splotchy and parts were thinner than other. I asked her to fix that and she told me that my other nails had an extra coat on them and that’s why it was different - I got my nails done at the same place why is there a difference in the gel manicure then? I hate to give a bad review, and my first experience at this salon was positive, but unfortunately I wont be returning after this awful experience.

My manicurist was fine but my daughter had someone who was very gruff. She was filing so ferociously, she cut her with the nail file. She was bleeding and in pain and the manicurist proceeded to try and stick her finger back into stinging astringent. Will not go back.
