This is embarrassing because my toes have NEVER looked like this but it isn’t my fault!
Okay so here goes my very first bad review. VN nails what the HECK are you teaching your techs? Angel somehow managed to give me the worst pedicure of my whole life, and I went to BEAUTY SCHOOL with people who didn’t know right from left. All of my toe nails are uneven. My polish is already chipping. I just left twenty minutes ago. She tried to polish me without a base coat until I called her out. She made me BLEED. Multiple times. She did the thing where she cuts the sidewalks of my toenails in so I get an ingrown, so I come back. Well I won’t be. I am a freaking nail tech, I know the drill. She shouldn’t be touching clients. Everything was rushed and this was for MY WEDDING. Now I have to go get ACRYLIC put on my big toes that way they are half way presentable. She didn’t even make both big toe nails the same shape, length, nothing. I have polish on my cuticles, and she complained about the color I chose. News flash, you’re the tech. Your job is to make me happy. It’s a shame because normal people wouldn’t know how BAD of a job this was, and me being a nail tech makes me literally disgusted. I want a refund. I tried to speak to the manager (I have it on video) but he just brushed it off saying ‘I’ll speak to her, thank you for telling me’. This is very sad. And NO. This isn’t a ‘privileged white woman’ post lol. This is called I am a professional in this industry, and this is unacceptable. Also, she demanded payment prior to my polish even being dry. If I don’t get my refund, I will be reporting y’all to the board. Didn’t even get into how unsanitary she was, re using a pumice stone on me from a prior client. The only reason I didn’t make it more of an issue while I’m the salon was because you guys were full of clients and I wanted their experience to be better than mine.

My sister and I have been going here for years to see Annie because she’s the only person I’ve ever found that does a full set that doesn’t make my nail beds ache and is always spot on with her nail art. She’s absolitly wonderful to chat with while she works her magic on your nails. Hands down, this is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to and it’s all because of Annie!

I have been going here since it used to be KC NAIL, it’s under new management and has different salon service professionals, it’s now called 1st VN nails & spa and is operated by the greatest people! I have been going to Annie forever and she’s never done any less than the best. My sets both polish and gel last me over a month and I’ve never had chipping or breaking. I am a stylist and a mother of two, so I’m always having wet hands and hundreds of reasons to chip and break my sets but from here, it NEVER happens. I’m taking NEVER. They’ve just started an IG if you’re interested in seeing photos of Annie’s work and all the other women there are kind and professional. They’ve always treated me and my family with respect and kindness and they’re efficient and execute flawless work.

Good Customer services, new personal, excellent services, now making facials with a certified esthetician. do not get carried away by those negative reviews, visit him and you will have a positive and different point of view
