2nd time going review 5/5: I had the BEST nail service by Kim. Wow she did amazing!!!! Very detailed and thorough with my manicure and gel nails. I loved the color with rose and glitter. I am SO PLEASED that they have lasted for literally 3 weeks while I was out of town on vacation/visiting family. They just started getting caught in my hair during a shower. But all the tips are still in tact and I am very hard on my nails as a farmer.
First time review 4/5: I went to Christie's Nail Salon around 7pm on a Friday in October. I called ahead and they said come on down (I live 7 minutes away). It was a busy Friday and I couldn't find parking anywhere. They called me and asked if I was still coming, I said Yes and that I couldn't find parking, she suggested to go up the hill. I did and I found parking by the park. I was helped right away. I didn't get the nail tech's name and she couldn't understand my English. They color selection was on a spiral stick which was nice to see all the colors. I chose this teal blue color and I put this beautiful reflective like glitter on top of all my nails. The manicure started with soaking my prior gel off, using the tool to scrape it off, more soaking, then the buffer rotating tool. All was easy and comfortable feeling. Then she used a cuticle liquid and pushed cuticles back and trimmed the excess skin. Filed the nails into the shape as I asked. We applied the gel with 2 coats of each and she did a great job! It didn't feel rushed either. It was $30 and I paid in cash.
The reason for 4 stars is that the gel was not applied close enough to the back of my cuticle and it's going to look grown out really fast. Also 4 stars because both tvs were on NBC news and they were talking about the election. If I'm going to sit there for an hour with no conversation with my nail tech, please turn the channel to something else.
I will be back to try the rest of the glitter shades and to try a pedicure.

I have been a customer of Christie’s Nails for over 10 years, and they are truly the best. They are very reasonably priced, and they do excellent work. I have been seeing Tina for about 5 years, and we have a great relationship, and she is always does her best to accommodate me. I really love it here, and I will never go to another nail salon in Philadelphia!

I am a regular at Christie's and have been pleased with the service until now. I had an appointment yesterday, and with the holidays it is a busy time, but my gel manicure was completely rushed. They charged me additional money to add a tip to one broken nail, something that was not made clear before doing so. Moreover, the same night of the manicure, the gel polish completely started peeling off my fingers. This is completely unacceptable and I am very disappointed.

I’ve been coming to Christie’s Nails since moving to Manayunk in 2017, and I can’t say enough great things about their team. Tina has always gone above and beyond to make her clients happy and has been giving me beautiful nails for years! We usually stick with pink, white, or chrome, but today we switched it up with a fall-inspired tortoise shell look, and once again, Tina delivered flawlessly. For stunning nails and a friendly atmosphere, Christie’s in Manayunk is the place to go! 💅🤍✨
