Not at all the students fault-Thinning shears should never get near curly hair and any hairdresser that does this should lose their license....
And this was done by the teacher--

I have had nothing but good experiences at Benes. The students staff and teachers are very friendly. I even had my hair and make up done here for my wedding. The ladies were fabulous.

I went in this week to the new port richey salon (2 days after july 4th) i had an 11am appointment. They claimed that there was only 4 students in so i had a 2 hour and some wait. I have dark brown hair and i asked for bayalage. I understand that my hair needs to go through processing and will be a different colour the first time i bleach it, so that is a non issue. My issue is i went in with hair that went clear to my butt (i have been growing it for 5 years) and when asked what kind of cut i wanted i asked to keep it as LONG as possible, i asked for about .5 to be cut off and add some face framing and layers, i walked out of the salon with my hair hacked to pieces (a girl cut my hair for the first time ever she said), and 6 inches cut off. now my hair comes to my shoulders, it was a V and now is cut horizontally across my back, and it looks like my layers have been chopped with an axe. .... The ladies are nice and the students are sweet, but i would suggest only going in if you want something super easy that anyone could do without skills.

From Mr. Bene on down the line, it’s a great spot to frequent. Thank you all for your expertise.
