I've been coming here for 7 years now. I have tried other nail salons that are closer to my house, out of convenience several times, but the quality doesn't compare to my gel acrylic manicures I have had done here. Their method of applying the gel polish to my acrylics is unmatched because my nails are stronger, and last longer when I get them done at Galaxy. I have even had a manicure last 4 weeks here, where at other places, they either break after 10 days or the color chips. It's always busy here, so sometimes you have to wait (even with an appointment), but the quality is worth it. Also one thing I'd like to recognize here is that the owner is a successful, hard working single mom who has grown this business exponentially since she has taken it over. She is not always 'sunshine and rainbows,' but she is genuine and treats me like family and I only know her through being her client for 8 years. There is a reason this place is always busy. I will never come back. Got a pedicure and full set. Was asked if I wanted wine, I said yes and waited a whole 20 min before I reminded Tony about it and he was quite rude about it. After that, a lady came in to get a manicure and he rudely questioned her about the nail polish she had on among other things it felt like an interrogation. I felt pressured to buy a bag of popcorn for $15 (a good cause) and did not even get a thank you...I don't even eat popcorn. I have not gone back since. Go to Allure nails instead. Tina is great!!!

My mom goes here all the time to get her nails done--often enough that all the staff know her by name. However, we recently had a very bad experience with Tony when he refused to honor gift certificate credit she had. I quietly waited at the front counter to try and discuss this issue with Tony (the guy with the tear drop tattoo near his eye) but he insisted I discuss it with him while he continued doing a client's nails, across the salon. He proceeded to be extremely rude during the interaction, raising his voice at me and interrupting as I politely asked if there was any way to track the balance, resissue the gift card, etc. During this interaction, other employees got up and retrieved the gift certificate forms and suggested he reissue us one since they knew the balance and they know my mom. However he refused to. Tony acknowledged that he knew there was $120 left on the gift certificate (because she had been in yesterday and he had seen the balance), and that he would not let anyone else use the gift certificate if they brought it in--since he knows my mom and her name. However, he despite that he still refused to give her credit or reissue a gift certificate for the remaining $120 amount.
I would never buy gift certificates here, you are throwing your money away. Also, based on the other reviews I see here--I would steer clear of Tony as a general rule. It was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had.
Jasmine, Ivy, and Cathy have always been very nice to us.

I love this place! The employees are super nice and they do an awesome job. Just make sure to make an appointment.

This is the worst place ever. They all literally stare at you and you can tell that they are judging you. Then when I went there for the first time I thought it was really cool until they started to do my nails they literally dig into your nails with the tools and it’s so painful. Then once they were done it was so pretty. But I also had a huge hang nail on both of my thumbs that took so long to get off. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
