I went here because the reviews were great. I called, made an appointment for a wash and blow dry telling the woman on the phone I have 20 inch hair. She said it would be 25-39 dollars. I walked in to a completely empty salon, the hairstylist sat me down in the shampoo bowl and said “you have a lot of hair, it’s going to be at least 49 dollars.” At least?! Um no, if you say one price over the phone it is wrong to change it once someone is there. Even if they made a mistake quoting me, they should have done the service since I took the time to go their salon. I told them that it’s not even that expensive in Miami which is the most expensive place in the state to get hair services. Ridiculous! Waisted my time. Unprofessional. Don’t waist your time going since the prices fluctuate once you sit down. My hair takes 45 minutes to dry from completely wet and flat ironed. Guess my 39 plus tip wasn’t worth an hour of a stylists time in an empty salon over a 10 dollar difference. But who knows, maybe with it was done it would have been a 60 dollar bill?!

Been going here for years. Mimi is the best. Great haircut and a consistent product every time. She works with my schedule too. The other girls are great as well! Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about shear beauty! I feel so welcome and comfortable when getting my hair done. I have gone from brown, to orange, to red, to black, and each time I am absolutely blown away with gorgeous my hair is. I always feel beautiful walking out of the salon. Everyone is so kind to their clients, also to the coworkers! From actually doing what you would like to do with your hair, also with helpful tips from the stylist, to others walking by and commenting how good they did on your hair! Great team at shear beauty! 💖

I love this salon AND I TRUST THEM! I have colored and/or highlighted my hair for about 25 years, I've never had any salon ever care about the health of my hair until I visited Shear Beauty! The stylists are friendly, welcoming, skilled and above all want us to leave happy and healthy!

I left the same yelp review, but for all you non-yelp users I would like to share my experience! I got my hair colored here a little over a week ago after attempting to color it myself. I had dark brown (almost black hair) and tried bleaching it out so I could make it a light brown... my hair was then orange. After the attempt, I decided I needed to leave it to the professionals to fix my horrible hair. I decided I wanted an ombré instead of light brown and booked an appointment with Sarah. She was very nice and pleasant to be around, as my appointment took a while because it's a long process. She was super friendly and nice and dyed my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it. I showed her a picture before-hand and she made my hair look exactly the same! For as long as I live in the area I will not be going to any other salon. I highly recommend this place & Sarah for all your hair needs! :-)
