I needed a touch up and keep my formula handy. That’s one of my many favorite things about Aveda. This salon came up with high reviews and even exceeded my expectations. It’s got such a great design and is super clean.
Norma put in my color and was fabulous! So friendly, added her expertise to what I already had and gave spa level service on my shampoo.
Highly recommend coming to this cute area in general, and definitely this salon.

They delivered and gave me exactly what I wanted! I booked my appointment last minute, they got me in the very next day. My blonde turned out summer blonde perfect (with Norma) and my haircut (by Natalie) was the best I’ve had in years. They say you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny!

This salon was clean, easy to find, great parking and I enjoyed every minute of my experience from start to finish. Upon booking, the receptionist had great phone etiquette. I got consistent appointment reminders prior to my appointment day. Upon checking in the day of my appointment, the receptionists were welcoming and super kind. It was my first time at a Texas salon! The receptionist took the time to welcome me and my family to San Antonio. We recently moved here so I was beyond nervous about finding a stylist! My stylist, Marcus, was professional, knowledgeable about AVEDA products, friendly, personable and incredibly helpful which put my nerves at complete ease. Once I saw the way he was sectioning and cutting (ie not rushing through the service). I prebooked my appointment with no hesitation. I have experience in both the AVEDA & the salonspa/beauty industry; Avant has exceeded all of my expectations. Don’t be shy, call them to book your appointment today!

My first visit to the Avant Salon and Spa at the Quarry was great and each one after that has been wonderful as well. I've had my hair cut by Sylvie and Irene and I always get the results I want. Consistency between stylists is hard to come by and so appreciated!!! Everyone is always very friendly and easy to chat with. If you prefer to be on the quieter side when getting your salon/spa on then they're happy to keep it super zen and relaxing too. :) I've noticed I always really enjoy their playlist in the background as well, never too loud.
