Absolutely AWFUL. Linda was SO rude did not want to talk at all was not friendly didn’t even say hello. I tried to be polite make small talk she & wasn’t having it. I had asked for Hard UV gel full set. She did NO prep. And when I asked if you push back the cuticles she said “no that’s $20 for a manicure” I was shocked but umm ok?
Then started to put the gel on. No dehydrator, didnt dust off my nails after putting the drill to them, no base coat or anything. I said whatever maybe she does it differently.
After she started filing and shaping she started to put on a top coast solution (not a uh coat but it looked as though she was going onto the next step. I noticed that there were dents & indentations in some of the nails and I had said “oh wait wait! There’s a little indent on that one” very politely I just didn’t want her to completely finish and then have to mention it later and redo it.
WELL I got: “I know let me finish” (she started a new step I thought she has missed something) “I know how to do my job” “I do my job better than you” “you didn’t let me finish”
I apologized and said I’m sorry I was just pointing it out because maybe you didn’t see and I didn’t want to make you fix it after you already finished.
She continued to argue with me to the point where I was so anxious I STARTED CRYING
I said forget it I want to leave please let me leave she said no no I’m almost finished.
Manager came over and asked what was wrong and when I tried to tell him she was speaking over me in her language every time. I said politely I can’t tell you what is going on she keeps talking over me. Then again. And again.
I BEGGED to be let go and the manager said “it’s ok you can go you don’t have to pay” and she INSISTED she finish.
I felt like I was held hostage all the while still arguing still being rude and me still crying.
Then she “finished” and this was the result. So needless to say she got offended when I pointed out it was uneven and was rude and horrible. Btw these were them “finished”

Not a good experience. Did traditional nail polish mani-pedi. The pedi was great. The mani was not. They cut my cuticles so roughly I had at least 3 fingers bleeding and left swollen. On the opposite hand, the nail tech messed up the paint on one and tried to fix it, didn’t say anything to me because they thought I didn’t notice, and then gave me this rough mess. $62 for this.

VERY problematic. Where do I start ?
• Did not follow the picture inspiration that I clearly showed, repeatedly.
• Very rude attitude. Why make customers feel like crap for coming to your establishment, aren’t we paying for this service ? Being nice is free.
• I asked for a wax on my knuckles, which came out to $25 extra. When I asked where it was indicated, she had no answer. I’m not sure how she determined that price out of thin air, which is obviously excessive for a 5 MINUTE service.
I would think wisely before choosing this establishment and read the reviews carefully.

I visited K Nails in December ‘23 & my nail tech, Linda, did Gel (P&W) pedicure, Fullset P&W, and eyebrow wax. The price I paid then vs. today was $30-$40 more. Today, I got Fullset P&W and Gel Pedicure. I paid way more this time than before (without the waxing) . I showed the nail tech how I wanted my nails to look but said I could do regular French if what I wanted was too complicated.
I’ll share pictures from December , my reference photo, and what I got. Not a good experience at all and I came as soon as they opened.

Absolutely love this place, I went here once on my way home from DC and they did such a nice job I wait to get my nails done until I can come up from where I live in Lynchburg (it’s a hour away I know that’s ridiculous but that’s how happy I’ve been with them) there very reasonably priced and they do the best job shaping my nails. They’re never chunky. Highly recommend
