I have curly hair and I am very picky about my haircut. I have had hair cuts all around the world in different countries in four different continents, I don't remember any single time I left the saloon happy and smiling. Until I met Fritz. I left him to decide the cut, he cut front longer and back shorter, which he said would hide double chin of mine that appears when I put on weight. My hair also grew nice. it looked nice even after a year. If you have curly hair, I strongly recommend him. He knows what he is doing.

This place, especially Angela does not know how to even wash curly hair. I’m sure if your hair is straight she will do great but curly hair women beware. She will assure you she can do it but you will leave looking like a Maltese poodle mix.

I have been going to Pure for several years. I have been impressed with the professionalism and level of service they provide. Jenny is awesome. As a guy, I want a quick cut and for it to be perfect every time. Jenny delivers true to form time after time. Jenny and the team at Pure are awesome. The location is great - you can park at the lot across the street which is always a plus. I hate searching for parking and this makes it so easy to get a great new hair cut at Pure.

Love Pure in the South End and I've been going there for my haircut and color since 2010. I go to Katy specifically, followed her from another salon in fact, but the whole team is great. Love the atmosphere, from the music to the decor. Especially awesome for people looking for color or have hard to manage hair (wavy, curly, etc).
