Have never been serviced here but now have no plans to after a member of staff was rude to a family member of mine. She had her truck break down just outside the shop. A police officer pushed her truck in the parking lot of this shop to get her out of the street and a staff member came out asking her to move. She explained she was stranded waiting for help and had no way to move. The worker rudely asked her how long it would take her to be out of the way.. because although they werent even open yet, they would be opening soon. A little compassion would have been appreciated..

Wonderful experience with Chelse!!! Engaging and vivacious. Completely pleased with my cut .... short and fun. Thank you so much. Absolutely the best Aveda experience I have ever had.

Amazing people! Aromatherapy. Great products. It's a very special experience. Felt great after leaving. Definitely will be back.

My story is too long. Believe it or not this is the short version. I had to reassure the person that was supposed to cut my hair that it was okay to cut it, CUT IT. This is very annoying for a patron. She was very nice, but why am I having to coddle this person?! Several times, several times I said "yes I'm sure." "Hair grows back." I'm blind w/o my glasses. I wasn't wearing contacts. I told her I'm a wash n go gal who rarely used products. She said, "but you do use products?" 🙄 "RARELY, maybe twice a year." I ended up w/ an over STYLED head of hair with an abundance of hair products. My head felt heavy later in the day from all the disgusting gunk in my hair. I did not receive a genuine hairCUT. She swept before I could reach for my glasses so I didn't see how little she snipped off of my head.🤔 Sneaky.
I just wanted to treat myself for my birthday. Disaster. And this was after an attempt to rectify my 1st unpleasant visit. By the way the gal that was unpleasant at the 1st visit was stalking me & the person servicing me. Everywhere we went, there she was. Eavesdropping? Learning how to interact w/ ppl? Very creepy. I did not appreciate being used to "teach" her via my interactions with the "pro". And they all knew I wanted her nowhere near me. I think having her shadow us upsets me more than anything else. It's taunting & insulting.
Even after this bad guidance I will say two of the owners & the manager (but even she made a mistake re: the extra feature I wanted to buy) are very nice. But I didn't want to go a 3rd time. I became fed up & bored with Raw. I ended up cutting & coloring my own hair & I love it. I even get compliments on my hair.

First impressions are important. My first impression is don’t bother scheduling an appointment, they aren’t prompt at all. It was 35 minutes after my appointment time before they saw me. The head stylist in charge of teaching the apprentices is very critical, which is great. But she is also very snobbish, which almost cancels that out. It’s a beautiful house converted into a salon, but beware of a sensory overload because it smells like every essential oil all at once. The smell paired with tracks of drums non stop was migraine inducing. My hair turned out great, and my stylist was very professional. Overall three stars.
