I absolutely love this place. They always make me feel so warm and good anytime I call or come in.
I am a woman with bra length curly hair and they charge the cheapest and do the best work in the valley. They might be missing the fanciness and the frills, but so unnecessary imo. I've never had a bad haircut here and the prices are so good, I usually tip 100%.

Nichole is amazing. The owner is the hardest working woman you will ever meet. She's out there every morning before 8 am, sweeping her sidewalk. Things like that show dedication, and I respect and appreciate her and all the staff at Ebony and Ivory. It's always an amazing experience when I take my family there. For Christmas, we were invited to choose a present from under the tree after a haircut, and it was a bunch of expensive hair products trial sizes. It was super fun, and I loved that. Thank you, you guys, for killing it out here in the Valley. I appreciate you!

My husband just got his hair done by Rae I believe. His hair looks wonderful! Even trimmed his beard so handsome. For my husband to be happy with his barber and the place means a lot and this will definitely be our go to place from now on. Also want to mention whoever answered the phone when I called to see if they take walk ins had the friendliest tone.

My daughter, who has blonde hair, went in for multi-colored ends. The blue turned out greyish green in multiple places. The pink and purple were dull, plus the placement looked uneven. It took contacting someone else in the salon multiple times to get Lily (the stylist) to respond. I was told it would cost more money to fix it. Since I would have to pay again, I took her somewhere else (Ulta, who did an awesome job). The salon itself is great and I was impressed by the other staff member who not only helped but also cut her hair, I just cannot recommend Lily.

Asked for a quarter inch to be taken off the top and had nearly an inch taken off instead. Also had my neckline and around my ears shaved in 1/4-1/2 inch for some reason even though I definitely didn't ask for that so now the bottom of my sides look completely ridiculous and unnatural. Guess I'm going back to cutting my own hair since it's impossible to find anything other than youtube hair stylists in Wasilla that don't understand basic communication and just do whatever the hell they want. I can mess up my own hair for free.
