The new management are great! I just wanted to put this review out there to let people know that the management has changed over the past few months and is SO much better than before. Reviews from before September 2018 are probably true, there were problems with packages, the gates were open more often than they were closed, you couldn't get any maintenance done, and your calls to the office would be sent to the void of the answering machine even if people were sitting in the office. It has taken about two months for the new management to get everything sorted out but they have been making consistent improvements and everything now seems to be running smoothly. There is now an efficient and secure package system, the gates are almost always closed, and my maintenance issues which had been waiting for over 2 months have been taken care of. A big thanks to everyone in the office who have made this happen!
There are still normal apartment issues, sometimes it's a hassle to get maintenance done and they don't let you know ahead of time when maintenance or an outside contractor will be coming to your apartment to do work. Overall, though, it's a really nice experience. When I've had issues lately I just swing by the office and they fix them right away. The community is generally quiet and feels safe. Maybe the best part is the parking! Unlike other complexes in the area which give you a single designated spot or a parking permit, Highland Lake has plenty of parking for residents and guests.

I would like to say a big great thank you to London, she's nice and really went above and beyond with the new packaging system she did, it was a time where i could never find them and people in the office would be really mean when i asked them to help because of the mess, but she has made my experience here better. i only like speaking with her since she has come, how could someone be so nice yay. maintenance could be better, hopefully some new changes will come with that.

I have lived here for 2 years and my plan was to not renew my lease however the new management has been awesome. My work orders are done in a timely manner and it is just nice to see that we finally have a some people that care about the community. Keep it up!!!

Moved in about two months ago. Had so many issues when I first moved in. Listed issues that I had and passed it over to the office. No one showed up until today. They say they will take care of it every time I visit them. The office team changed recently but no improvement. Only a new guy at the office is nice. Does not respond to emails. I do not get what I paid for. Undergrad students having party. Saw few roach when I first moved in.

Cynthia is absolutely amazing! She has helped us throughout the entire apartment rental situation and has been extremely accommodating for us. I highly recommend seeing her for any help because she is extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful!
