This is the first time I've ever not tipped. I went in to get acrylic nails. Everything was good until the polish. The lady put the wrong shade on. I asked for a light pink, almost nude. I was given a hot pink. I tried communicating with the woman who painted them, but she didn't understand. Finally, she realized she put the wrong shade on, after she had already put the top coat on and I was fuming. Instead of removing the polish, she topped it with the correct color and another layer of top coat! The bottom color showed through and it was a thick mess that looked like a 2 year old did it. She left my fingers bleeding as well. I paid $55 to have a thick, bleeding, mess.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Went there to get my eyebrows waxed. I have naturally thick eyebrows and the lady asked if I wanted them a little bit thinner I told her no twice to only clean up. She proceeds to do my eyebrows and when she shows me them I have thin eyebrows and one is thinner than the other. It also was a lot longer than the other as if she left hairs and didnt fully clean it up. The girl at the front was nice enough to apologize and the manager did not even stop what he was doing to look at my eyebrows. All he told the receptionist was give her 20% off. Its not like nails where you can do them over you literally have to wait weeks for the hair to grow back so again don't waste your time!

Me and my friend went here to get full sets and rushed through the whole thing, her acrylic came out way too thick and sloppy and they cut hers shorter than she wanted. In addition to that they also slapped on a ton of polish so looked super sloppy and took forever to dry. Myne were so wet I actindentally touched the table lightly when putting my hands down and it messed up the polish on 2 of my nails, when I showed her he got a huge attitude and did not want to fix it, she just slapped some more top coat on top and was done with me. Definitely were in a rush and careless. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!

WARNING ⚠️ long post : so i go into Modern Nails Salon and Day Spa at tThe Oaks Mall. i tell them i want a pink and white fill. she proceeds to tell me it would be $40. i said ok. she looks at my nails and says “we dont have that dark pink”. i said thats fine , will it look bad with the pink that you guys have ? she says that she can blend it. i said ok. before she begins , i tell her “never mind”. ill just get the REGULAR acrylic to fill in and not to the pink and white. she rudely does my nails , i ask her to clean up around my nails and she doesnt. anywho , so mind you , i tell her i want REGULAR ACRYLIC and she does just that. so i go and sit to dry and look at the ticket and notices she charges me $40 for a pink and white fill. so i call the receptionist to me and ask how much a fill is and she says $16 so i ask why was i charged $40. she tells me to talk to the tech who did my nails. so i go back to her and ask her the same thing and she says because she had to “fix the pink acrylic”. wrong ! my old pink acrylic is STILL on my nails , all she did was a fill with REGULAR acrylic. anywho , so at this point we’re debating and she yells “call the police she doesnt want to pay”. mind you , im sitting in the chair talking to her because shes supposed to be cleaning up the leftover black polish. so i sit and wait for security to come as my nails dry. i ask for the manager but the receptionist says “hes not available” and gives me his number. long story short , security comes they agree w me but its not in their job description to make the company change their ways of thinking and charging. so at this point they instruct me to call GPD. GPD arrives and they also agree with me but again , its a civil matter and not a criminal matter so its nothing they can do. so i end up paying the $52 for a basic fill and toe polish which was supposed to be a total of $28. i will NEVER go back to them. was i wrong ? someone PLEASE fill me in.

DO NOT GO HERE I would give this place 0 stars..... I went in for a pedicure on a Sunday night. The technician, Kim, was in a rush it seemed. She painted my toes with the wrong color, and gave me a friction burn with the metal file on my skin. Then the next morning my foot hurt really bad and was swollen. I went to an E.R. where it was determined it was an infection. I had to have X-Rays and be put on an antibiotic.
