This place is AMAZING!! I had a gentleman named Tom and he did such a wonderful job! I'm sooo pleased and thankful with the job he did on my nails!!
I just moved back home from Boston, and have been trying multiple different salons around my area, and now I FINALLY have found my new nail salon (Gel Polish Bar).
I've been to 4 different salons (and each time
I had a man work on my nails)- and my nails always came out terrible!! I've just had bad experiences with all the other places I've been too!!
BESIDES THIS PLACE! I walked in an hour before they closed (like an A-hole lol) and they were slammed with people. I waited about 15/20 mins before Tom (one or the nail techs) had me sit at his station, (and in my head I'm thinking great another guy doing my nails; theyre gonna come out terrible.) But I was COMPLETELY WRONG!
Even with it almost being closing time, he still took his time and ACTUALLY listened to everything I wanted him to do/fix. I am sooo unbelievably impressed with my nails!! I'm so thankful that he took the time and listened so well to what I wanted done to my nails..Other places barley listen to what I ask of them( and usually do the opposite of what I asked them to fix or they tell me "wait till it's done & then you'll like them" -always hate them).
But with Tom he made sure I was satisfied with his work; and anything I told him I wanted fixed, he did it right then and there.. and didn't tell me to wait and never end up doing it like previous experiences.
I could tell that even though he wanted to get out of work because they were already closed (cause I ended up staying past closing time), that his main goal was for me to be happy and satisfied with my nails!
Thank you so much Tom!! You have no idea how much I appreciate the work and time you spent to make sure I was pleased with my nails!! You're the first man I've had do my nails, that I've actually not just like but LOVE! You're an amazing nail artist and I will recommend anyone to go here to get their nails done! Tom at Gel Polish Nails is awesome!!!💖💅🏼

if I could give a zero I would! I have been a customer here for a while and every time I say why do I go back maybe because its close, three days my nail broke, I go back and they made me sit there for 45 for a broken nail and told me to change my color and asked me to pay for it while they all sat there and talked about me in their language. I couldn't believe they are treating their customers like this. us ladiess want to go to a nail salon to relax not feel like were doing something wrong I will never step a foot in this place I encourage you guys to do so too. save your money

My normal nail place is getting expensive so I decided to try Gel Nail Bar. I will admit that I should've asked them to redo my nails but I didn't have time and also my technician dropped me as soon as another customer came in. The place was not that busy and several of the staff were eating at the stations. The place is cutely decorated but it was not that clean and I didn't see them cleaning out the foot baths between customers.
I decided on a spa pedicure and a regular manicure. There were limited color options but I finally found cute colors. I was asked repeatedly if I wanted to do gel manicure that it was better but I kept saying no. I am glad I opted for the cheaper option because my nails came out atrocious. She did a good job on filing and shaping my nails but then just applied cream no massage and didn't wipe off the cream before starting the polish. Not sure if they thin out the nail polish or she just didn't blend in the sides but you can tell where the brush ended and looks like a double layer.
For the pedicure the shaping, filing and painting looks good in the toes but there wasn't really a massage and my feet don't feel smooth like they typically do after I get a pedicure. While I was drying the woman didn't check in on me except for when she asked me to pay. Didn't double check her work or to check to see if my nails were dry before I left. I could've saved myself the money and given myself a better mani/pedi at home.

I personally bring my little sister here all the time! The staff is like no other, even though I am not getting my nails done the workers have great hospitality and offer me drinks! My sister raves about this place. Highly recommend you stop in.
