Yesterday was my first time here. I was getting a signature facial which I was told last 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was only in the room for 1 hour. The facial was okay, I still left with a couple areas I thought would have been taken care of during the facial so that was kind of disappointing. I also saw on the website that complimentary hair wash and blow dry was included with facial services as well as make up application. Neither of those were done and I was very disappointed by it. It shouldn't be on the website if you aren't able to do it, or at least you should mention services only to be done if time is available. This was a birthday present for my 30th and it would have been nice to have the full experience.

Extremely slow and tacky sales push. I arrived early for my appointment and was told the nail tech was running 10 minutes late. 45 minutes later, the nail tech was still not done with her previous client and she hadn’t bothered to check on me or give me an update on her continued poor time management. I had plans that night and could not wait any longer. I’m not sure why they bother to take appointments if they don’t remotely stick to them. At the beginning of my wait, they tried to sell me on their salon products and the sale they were running. I’m not opposed to buying products but I despise when they are pushed on me. The salon itself looks nice. The pedicure chairs are confortable and stylish. However, the customer service is extremely lacking and unprofessional.

Village Salon & Spa is located in 5 Points Village mall by The Green Turtle.. It’s the kinda place you wouldn’t notice unless someone said it was there. Parking is free year round. It’s a quiet stress free.
It seems like a first class place that needs to be explored. I found it when I was trying to use up some Marriott points & the spas at Marriott properties near me didn’t offer anything interesting, unless I wanted to drive 2+ hours to Philadelphia which offered Hydrafacial at Ritz Carlton. It’s the latest thing, replacing microdermabrasion, has suction which pulls out impurities, while putting in hyaluronic acid & other serums at same time. Lo & behold Village Salon & Spa in Lewes has the treatment, the machine, & trained tech Logan. So instead of driving for 4+ hours I could drive 5 minutes. So Marriott points I’ll get a gift card instead.. & I went, which Im glad I did. I’m not an expert on facials, but this has got to be the best kind you could ever get if your so inclined. You will see a difference in the mirror that will last many days after.
