I have been to this salon on multiple occasions over the past two years, and have always had decent, albeit not stellar, service. This morning I was reading other reviews and was really surprised by some of them, and decided to go anyway for a routine pedicure. Big mistake. I have had hundreds of pedicures, and worked as a receptionist in two different salons, and this was the worst pedicure I have ever seen. I did not want to potentially ruin the experience for the other patrons today, so I did not voice this in person, but have since called to complain.
To start, I was seated in a chair and abandoned, and another tech had to shut off my water before it overflowed. The two technicians to offer my services returned, one the elder lady whom I gather to be the owner, and a young lady who could not have been more than 18 years old who was apparently learning, as she was being told what to do at every step. This would not bother me, had the service been reduced cost or professional. I was in the chair for under 30 minutes, the shortest "standard" pedicure I've ever had. Each part of the service was rushed, halfway completed, and unprofessional. Each technician worked on one foot, and I barely had time to relax for the sugar scrub, which lasted one minute for both legs. They had to retrim my nails three times, did not service my ingrown toenails like I specifically requested even though I ended up bleeding slightly, left calluses on each part of both feet, and did not even rub the lotion into my skin. The polish was sloppy, and I sat under the dryer for almost the same time as my service before finally asking if I was ready to leave. While I was waiting,y technician began another customer with the wrong service, and another customer actually called to also report poor service from this morning, stating her polish was already coming off, requesting a refund as she resides out of town. The response from the owner/manager was "we don't return money to anyone. You need to give (technician) the chance to fix it", and was angry at the customer.
I have never seen such unprofessional behavior or poor service at a salon in my life. The other reviews indicated anyone with an appointment had to wait until walk in customers were finished, and they have apparently swung the entire opposite direction and rush through everyone. I will never return, will never recommend it to anyone else, and will consider contacting the BBB or licensing board.

I really enjoy going here. They do a good job, are welcoming, and have good service. I've been here numerous times.

I've only ever gotten my nails done here one time. They were extremely and overly thick. The woman didn't clean the excess acrylic from underneath them. It was expensive for a good set, let alone what I received. I had crooked nails and extra acrylic around them. The gel polish applied to the top of the nails wasn't even coats and wasn't all the way to the edges of nails. This caused an uneven look.

O P Nails is a nice little nail salon in the St. Marys plaza. Everyone there is really friendly and will provide multiple services at a decent price. I often go there to get my toes done and they always turn out wonderful.
