Stephanie the new owner is the BEST part of going there. She has turned Mingees into a fresh, ultra friendly, super personable and relaxing environment. Every woman that works there are super sweet, professional and amazing! My husband and I both LOVE going. Mingees is beyond 5 star! We love you Stephanie!

They have new owners. Large salon was so busy I had to go to smaller salon. Fortunately, my preferred person was working there. Love the new interiors. Looks great. Service is as great as ever.

Excellent service. I usually request the basic
mani-pedi service - the prices are very reasonable too with friendly, quality workmanship. Stephanie and her staff at both locations in San Clemente are wonderful.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Pedicure gone wrong left me at urgent care with a painful toe infection that needed a 10 day course of strong antibiotics and missing a critical work event.
When I went in to speak w/Michael after I could walk again he acted as if he didn't recall my phone call the day I went to Urgent Care. As if I were bluffing until I showed him the photos of my toe only then did I get back my refund.
Due to his handling of the matter- most specifically the disrespectful questioning of my word in front of a half full salon- I have decided not to return and warn friends to avoid Mingees.
I know it's an established local business and my 1 star review is only a reflection of management's behavior. I enjoyed the technicians I've met and they are lovely people.

I would give them no stars if I could! This was my second time here (first time was only ok) but I haven’t found a great place yet. I decided to give them another try and just like the other reviews said they were pushy! The lady didn’t even offer me the menu I had to ask her for it, she was probably going to just do the works then charge me out the wazoo! I then told her which pedicure I wanted and she tried to push me to buy a more expensive package even though I had made my selection! Part way into my pedicure she asked me if I wanted sea salt or hot oil and I thought my service came with both. I clarified and she said it’s one or the other which I don’t think is correct because last time I got the same service and had both the oil and scrub. Then she started rubbing my feet and asked if I wanted a 10 minute massage for $10 extra and I said no thanks just what the package comes with. I’m tryjng to relax and enjoy my massage then she says “how bout 5 minutes more for $5” again I said no! Then she had the nerve while painting my nails to ask if I wanted flowers put on one toe for extra. I was not happy. THEN to top it off she wasn’t even friendly or thank me for coming in, wish me a good day or anything...she stood up and said “you pay me now!” In a very rude tone. I definitely won’t be going here again and will not recommend them to anyone. Also I got home and realized she only painted half of my little toe nail which is really annoying!
