I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at LUSH. I had a vision of what I wanted and Bettie delivered on point. She's got a gift, and we are truly blessed to have such talent on the island. I've gone from stylist to stylist, never feeling like my desired look was ever achieved, until I met Bettie. Not only does she work magic in her salon, she is an absolute joy, expressing her beauty, inside and out. Thank you, Bettie!

Although it was kind of you to offer to do the toning for free when I asked to buy the toner from you, you were in the process of asking me for something that you wanted from me- so that kindness was more of a transaction or bargaining chip in my book. The toning did nothing and was mostly on my forehead, which was exactly what I was worried about, and why I didn't ask you to do it in the first place.
Before that, there were six or more cuts that had many tufts left uncut because it was done so fast.
That is why I left the review.

Very nice lady! Did my hair for a wedding I was in. I asked for my hair to be down and curled, which she did beautifully. But 10 minutes later, I realized how hot it was to have it down. So she pinned it up nicely for me. Thank you!

Bettie did my hair on my honeymoon and I could not recommend her enough! I had a vague idea of what I wanted, and she pushed me a little out of my comfort zone and I left with the cutest cut and color ever. She was so sweet and I’m so happy with my experience at LUSH!

I was new to the island and didn't know where to get my hair cut/colored. Luckily for me a friend recommended Bettie and so glad I took her advice. Wow! Everything was great and, best of all, it was a true pleasure to meet Bettie and receive such expert care. She listened and took the time to hear what I wanted and gave me a great result. I also loved her salon - very comfortable and welcoming. Friday Harbor is lucky to have Bettie and her great talent!!!!!
