I’ve been to this shop 3 times. I’ve learned my lesson from past experiences not to give service industry reviews based solely on the first visit. My review is based on all 3 of my visits.
I just moved here from Chicago. I found this shop on yelp. It’s very close to my house. My first visit was manicure and a pedicure. My second and third visit I did SNS manicure and pedicure. I can’t remember the name of the technician that did my pedicure the first 2 times, but it was great. The last time it was Lina. She is very thorough. My pedicure took long but it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I got my nails done at the same time by Karen. She was great as well! My nails looked very natural.
They have a kiddie pedicure chair and offer kids nails and toe special for $24. I like to bring my 5 year old with and she loves. The only negative part about that is my nails and toes take so much longer than hers so she does get restless.
I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 because my 18 year old daughter came with me the second time to get her nails and toes done. She loved her pedicure but hated her nails. Her nails chipped the same week. She got a full set. I can’t remember the name of the technician. Maybe she was new because I have not had that experience for myself.

I just came to this nail salon for the first time and it was amazing! The service you receive is fantastic. They were so polite to me from the time that I called to make my appointment to the time that I left the salon. Kelly did my SNS nails and I have never had someone be so gentle with my hands and so particular about little things. I have yet to find a nail salon that I liked to go back to but this one is definitely it!

I love coming to this salon. Dina is the best nail tech I've ever found. Her free hand designs are truly the best. The whole staff is very friendly.

I definitely recommend this place. The nail technicians are very friendly and pleasant. I got a basic mani and pedi. Average pricing and quality work. Over all great experience. If I am ever on this side of town and need a mani/pedi. I would come back again for sure. Also they got me in and out quickly. Big plus in my book.

Love this nail salon! The SNS nails are fantastic - no smell and no UV light. They are strong and my nails underneath are much healthier than when I had acrylic or gel. I tried many nail salons and Modern Nail does much better than anywhere else I have been. I travel 75 miles to get my SNS nails done here - and get to visit my daughter who lives locally. The owner, Kelly, does my nails. She is wonderful, as is Deena. I highly recommend Modern Nail.
