At first I wasn't going to say anything and literally another one of my nails just pop off in the middle like they didn't put enough glue or hard gel not sure which. But first I paid $255 for tips hard gel and color change with design tip $20 boy was that the biggest mistake ever! Anyhow 2 days after I leave my toe nail just cracks. I'm like ok can't go back yet I'm away texted here many times NO ANSWER when I get back 6 days after going there and in 5 days another nails pops off and another lifting on the side. MIMI looks at me as I'm explaining It's only 2 days etc all this started and she basiclly tries to shut me up by saying very sternly I KNOW YOU. after all is said and done she charged me $10 for gel top coat. Why?? Was $255 going away and the nails never even lasted enough I need to be charged more she even walked out to make sure I paid because I left my wallet in car. The quality of work here used to be way better now the pinkie nail popped off I'm So done! If you don't want to get robbed of your hard earned money please Don't go here I've been to many places and can say it's good work but Not the best and definitely had better. I don't mind traveling when its worth it!! Try tomato nails 2 ask for Olivia tell them I sent you!!!!

Just got a Pride manicure, spa pedicure and got my eyebrows done.
These people are amazing as always.
Check them out, I've been coming here for around 10 years and they have the best service and always have the newest equipment.
It was definitely worth the drive from New jersey.

1st visit was good. 2nd visit was awful- like a nail factory- the faster they are the quicker they can flip a customer. 3 people couldn’t figure out a powder fill in or new set. When I finally thought I had someone who knows what to do she made a mess, never had me wash my hands so the job was grainy aside from the fact the nails were all wavy and a disaster. 2.5hrs later and after $51 before tipping I left and 24 hours later the powder job cracked. Now they don’t answer the phone. A real disaster.

I’ve been going to Mimi’s for like 3 months now and I found my new fav salon in Brooklyn. Mimi and her husband are the cutest - they’re caring towards their customers and that’s great to see at a nail salon.
The first time entering a new salon always feels weird but after my second time there, Mimi and her husband will remember you. My 3rd time at the salon they hooked me up with the same nail technician because they remembered she did my nails really well 2 weeks prior.
I went on Dec 29th and they gave their guests a lil goodie bag that had the signature nail salon scent lotion and toeless socks which was so thoughtful.
The services are fairly priced for the quality of work. I’ve gone to cheaper nail salons that didn’t care so I’d gladly pay slightly higher for a place that does.
Would highly recommend to anyone in Brooklyn that lives nearby.

Had to quit this spa. Got tired of being put in the backroom with the less experienced nail techs. Place is too crowded and not relaxing. Prices raised to finance new pedi chairs and mani tables but a bigger overhaul needed. Too much going on, crazy, foul- language music, chaotic. Other spas on the avenue might not be as popular but clearly there’s enough demand in the area to keep most in business. Already found two that are quieter with no less quality and better atmosphere.
