Just changed my rating after my wife's experience today. She is a loyal customer, pleased with Covid precautions. But today her nails were done a completely different color than expected. When she mentioned this to the nail tech he said they must just look different to her. 🤔 Picture is after only 3 days of SNS.

My sister and I made an appointment for Saturday at opening for a nail service. They did not have people there to service us for our appointment so I was seen well before she was. As I waited for her to finish, I was allowed to stay seated in the station I was already seated in. As my sister washed her hands, I observed the technician take the acetone used in the bowl to soak off her acrylic nails put the it back in the acetone container and put the container back in the drawer! (Let me say it simple: he squeezed the bottle and sucked up the acetone from the bowl back into the container, wiped the bowl with a paper towel and put the container back up in his drawer!) I did not make a scene, but I think others should know and understand. Is this a standard practice? Used acetone repurposed for other uses? That doesn’t seem sanitary. This was my third time going to this shop because I liked the dip nail services. I will not be returning. He did this right in front of me, so I can’t imagine what we do not see.

Lady cut my nail all the way to the quick, which caused it to instantly bleed!
Still had to end up paying for her to take my nails off. That’s fine, that’s not the issue. Handed the man my $10, he just grabbed it as if he felt some type of way that they had to stay longer passed closing time. First time, and will def be my last!

I had a friend recommend La Vie to me and I have always gotten my nails done here since then. I love their service and their acrylic nails always stay on literally FOREVER. I will always get my nails done here! Lee runs her shop wonderfully!💗

I go to Lavie regularly and usually ask for the same two people. They weren’t available so I had to get someone else. I was advised the person that did my nails did good work. This was NOT the case. I got white gel polish like I always do. The same day they appeared streaky and in even. Highly dissatisfied.
