Very happy with the results. I had knives damaged due to other people misusing them. Ambrosi cutlery did an excellent job fixing and restoring edge to my knives. I recommend Ambrosi cultery to others who need knife sharpening. Remember, a sharp knife is a safer knife.

Ambrosi cutlery is the best! I recently had a different local shop sharpen my Henckel 4star knives and they did a terrible job and damaged the blades.
Robert at Ambrosi Cutlery took in the damaged knives and restored them to perfect condition. I could not be happier with their/his work. The staff at Ambrosi are true professionals and I will recommend them to everyone I know. I dropped the knives off in the morning and they were finished before the end of the day.
Do not hesitate to bring your knives to Ambrosi Cutlery. They are the best and I will be going back for sure!

Best Idea Ever! I read an article about knife sharpening technique and then watched a youtube video, after a few attempts and almost losing my fingers I googled Knife Sharpening services and found Ambrosi Cutlery! Such a simple process and yet amazing results. I am not a professional chef, but surly feel like one now. I called them on a Monday morning and spoke with Jay about my knives and my lack of experience with sharpening; he said check my mailbox tomorrow for a shipping box and I would be all set. Sure enough Tuesday when I got home from work I had a small box waiting at home, I put in all my knives, stuck on the mailing sticker Jay sent and off they went. Friday of the same week (3 days later), I was surprised to come home and see the same box. My knives were sharpened, cleaned, and ready for me to cook. WARNING:(to your fingers) if you thought you had sharp knives before, wait until you try and cut with a Knife Ambrosi Cutlery sharpens, the best part was my wife and kids watching me as I cut up veggies like I had my own cooking show!
Although long winded, if you take anything away from this review: I am sure professionals appreciate and see the need for this, but as an average home cook you will see a whole new enjoyment for the tools of the trade with very little inconvenience and most importantly no danger to your own fingers!

Great commercial knife sharpening services. Use them for my restaurant all the time and the service is tops in NYC!!
