I'm used to touching up my roots on my own, but today I bought the wrong box and it turned my hair yellow... I walked into Whimz and literally said whatever you can do to help I'll take I look like big bird. Lisa and everyone else who consulted were able to come up with a solution to get rid of the yellow and it turned out amazing! I love my hair! Thanks Lisa and the Whimz team!

I was set up with Michelle. She is really good. I had a picture for her. She gave me the pros and cons for the style that I wanted. She knows hair and products. I like stylists that can give professional knowledge in these areas. So far I love my new style and I have another appointment set up with her. I really like the salon too.

Having spent most of my life flipping the butcher-or-stylist coin at places like Great Clips, I have to admit I've set my haircut bar pretty low. As long as my ears appear even and the stylist doesn't leave bald spots, or practically shave my head because she keeps screwing up and cutting shorter to cover her mistakes (I'm talking to you, Stacee-with-two-E's from Great Clips!) then I'll be pretty happy. That being said, I'm more than just pretty happy with Salon Whimz. I mean, sure, they charge a bit more than I'd like to pay considering my small head, but I guess that's the price I have to pay for the guarantee of a perfect cut every time. Like a butterfly tattoo, my stylist, Kelsey, is just the right combination of edgy and traditional, and she leaps between the two with the grace of a gazelle, all depending on my mood for that month.
