The food was ok, except for our salad which was bland. Alas the good just didn't have the flavor that I generally love from Italian food. I do tend to be picky as I grew up on it.

Waiter was shorthanded but not attentive. Pizza was soggy, salad had loads of bacon buried at the bottom I didn't find until the end, otherwise was tasteless. Altogether too much money for marginal food and slow service. Oh, and very noisy.

Wonderful restaurant a block off Santa Cruz Ave. Dropped in on a Saturday night, while busy, they were able to seat us right away. They don't have a children's menu, but were happy to make penne pasta with butter for our youngest. Staff was very personable and always accessible (it's a small dining room). Veal Marsala was perfect... tender Veal, fresh sliced mushrooms, with a light hint of Marsala. The Penne with the spicy marina had just the right amount of heat/spice. Hope to get here one more time before our trip is over.
