Cool designs, lots of color options and good if you need nails done last minute , but not great detail, done quickly, and poor quality. The price of nails constantly changes every time I go and my acrylics look completely uneven. Some of the staff are really kind but others are rough and just trying to move onto the next client, often leaving to go finish others nails in the middle of the session. The lady who did the designs is very talented and good at what she does but the owners do not handle their clients with care.

Disappointed after my second visit. I thought this would be my new salon because my first experience was great. I needed a couple of broke acrylic nails replaced and asked for a polish change. The young lady took great care of me, was kind, and recreated the exact design I asked for. HOWEVER, this time around I walked in looking to get a full set. I had a design I found online picked out and asked the woman who later did my nails if it was possible. She agreed and took me back. The entire process was very rushed, to the point where she almost looked frazzled herself from trying to move so quickly. She then goes to find what was needed for my design and returns to say they didn’t have it. She showed me alternatives which honestly were nothing like what I asked for. By this point I just wanted it to be over, frustrated that I was initially told it could be done, and feeling like I was burdening her for utilizing their service. She was very obviously just looking to move on to the next rather than making sure the client she had in front of her was pleased with the service being received. My polish is clumpy, unevenly shaped, and a very cheap knock off version of what I asked for. All very clearly caused by the urgency to get the next paying customer into the seat. Very disappointed.

I have come here for years. I have always been able to use my credit card. Today I went to get my Christmas nails and intended to use my credit card since they are usually over $100. No one said anything to me about them no longer taking credit cards until I went to pay. I only had $150 left in my bank account that I had to take out in it’s entirety to pay cash for the nails since no one told me a credit card was no longer able to be used until after my nails were done. Really disappointing because I’ve always really loved this salon. The nails were great. Just abundantly annoyed that I cannot use my credit card and had to drain all my cash.

I’ve been coming to American Nails for years & have been happy about 95% of the time which is pretty good considering I’m in here every 3-4 weeks. I get a dip manicure & a gel pedicure & they both hold up great! The only reason I have to come back is because my nails grow so quickly. This time I got Holly & she got it 100% right. I will ask for her from now on. Highly recommend this nail salon!

I went in for my birthday weekend October 24th to be exactly. Every pedicure I’ve gotten ingrown toenails because they don’t cut them properly. She still did a great job. When it came to the manicurist she was EXTREMELY rude. I have small fingers and small fingernail beds. My nails were a little longer than normal but when she started my manicure she yelled at me for having “no nails”. Since she couldn’t talk me into acrylics she gave me a rushed manicure in which she was rough with me and criticized my hands and nails the entire time. By the time I left my nails weren’t even painted to the cuticle and the “gel manicure” I was given lasted less than a week. The first time I came I got acrylics and they were fine. When I asked my tech about a style and asked if that was natural nail or acrylic she told me as if I was stupid it was acrylic (the set was very very short and looked natural) and then mocked that she had nothing to work with when it came to my hands and pushed me over to the manicure side. Even the pedicure tech looked horrified. Worst 100 dollars I’ve ever spent. For super upchaged for a glitter accent nail.
I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. If American nails wants the name of the woman I’m happy to provide it. Instead of feeling confident I was ridiculed for an hour and a half because my nails are a smaller width and I refused to get acrylics.
