HORRIBLE 1st And LAST Experience!!!
My first and last time ever going to this nail salon was 2 weeks ago. They weren’t very welcoming at all just said “Yes” when I walked in I told them my name and that I was their 3:30 appointment. She told me to sit at a station and the man came over a few minutes later...didn’t say anything to me just started removing the gel nail polish on the highest speed the machine would go and when I told him it was burnt my nails he hit the side of his hand on the table in annoyance and slowed the machine down.
Then he proceeds to pull out acrylic powder and almost put that on my nails, if I had not stopped him and asked what type of powder it was (mind you I have Gel Nails) and he would have known that if he would have asked me instead of assuming. Then he put so much on each nail that it ran onto my skin (I have slim nail beds) and looked HORRIBLE!!! I had to ask him to make them thinner 3 separate times and to remove the dried thick gel on my skin and every time he’d hit his hand on the workstation as if HE was getting annoyed with me.
Needless to say he never cleaned the gel off my skin and just sent me to the polish station where I was finally able to see their nail color selection and she came over and asked me what color; when I said I didn’t know I just got the colors she proceeded to do a pedicure for another client!!! SMH in disbelief after sitting there for almost 25 minutes she comes back to me and I show her the color and ask if she could remove the gel from my skin on all of my nails and start to clip away with nail clippers and shaping thin with a buffer!!! Needless to say my nails looked horrible and I had sharp boxed edges around the cuticles. So when polishing took place the polish would stick to the edge and would drop off what I can only describe as a cliff on each nail. I was so disappointed in the service I just wanted to leave and the man rang me up and evidently gave me a $3 discount and let me know next time the service would be more!!! I’m thinking there won’t be a next time EVER!!!!
I’ll be driving to Raleigh to my normal person from here on out!!!!
