I was a student there in fall of 2009 and spring of 2010. I absolutely LOVED this school and instructors! The instructors are from the field(at least when I was there) they specialized in certain services, color, cut, make up, etc. Highly recommend this school!!!

Zatavia did a wonderful job on my hair. I had corrective color on my hair. it was perfect. The instructor (I believe her name was Krystal?) She was extremely an excellent instructor Kudo to yourself!!! So one cosmetologist to another you did a wonderful job while training Zatavia. I was a hairstylist 1982-2002 (I had a stroke and can't use my right arm, and very hard to explain how I wanted my hair) thank you thank you both for a excellent time. The cost for my color would have been 100$ plus, I paid a third of it, for the quality of the product Paul Mitchell is#1. Thank-you again Lora 😁✂️💇

Worst Place Ever!!! There as expensive as a Salon and the students are lazy. Most of them dont want to do your hair. The prices they tell you are a starting price but they literally charge you for everything. Even there mistakes. This is probably good for ppl who have very short hair. They burnt my hair and they wanted a tipvafter four ppl worked in my hair. Go to a salon or you will regret it!!!

I don't know why I've been going to actual salons my whole life, schools are the way to go! My daughter LOVES going to the "sawom". She's 3 & had her first mani& pedi at michaels around 2 yrs old. She behaves well for them& the girls are amazing! They're super patient if I have to get up & help her use the potty or whatever and if they're not busy they'll entertain her if my services take longer than expected (I also make sure to bring an iPad & snacks just in case). She lets them wash & comb her hair (I have to chase her while she screams "NO!" If I try to do it).

There aren't enough ways to say how much I enjoyed my Michael's experiences! I went in because I had a Groupon for a mani-pedi. The student (Maddy) who performed my service was awesome. She made me feel pampered and special ... and that's what you want with a mani-pedi, right? 😀
I had been thinking about getting a perm and I mentioned this to Maddy. She enthusiastically expressed that this was a service available at the school. Her positive attitude convinced me to go ahead and book the service. Again, I felt pampered and special throughout the lengthy process and was extremely happy with the results.
This time we talked about purple highlights ... how fun does that sound? I'll be going back a third time in a couple if weeks to do just that. I can't wait!!
