The spa pedi is amazing - I've been twice and both times the massage is super relaxing - they use hot stones. Their massage chairs are also great.... it's clean and the staff are lovely

This is the worst nail salon experience me and my friend have ever had. My friend's experience: 1. My friends French tip gel manicure was bumpy, uneven, sheer on the white parts, full of fuzzy coat fibers stuck onto the nail before the curing process 2. When my friend nicely and repeatedly (I kid you not at least 7 times of asking) to have the white parts adjusted so that they were in at least straight lines, the woman refused to make those adjustments 3. The woman doing my friends nails responded to my friends polite concern with just "your nails are too short" (which is BS because I've seen great French tips on the stubbiest nails a hundred times) -she was not given a refund and instead was charged 58 dollars (without tip or tax included) My experience: 1. After my gel manicure was done (that was a beautiful job and great in all senses) my manicurist saw that my friend wasn't finished with her manicure yet and instead of having me sit around, she smiled and motioned to the little massage station next to us. Her exact words: "Here, we do massage chair while you wait." I agreed and let her massage me while my friend finished up. It was a very light and casual massage. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad either. I got up to go to the desk when my friend was done and was surprised to hear that my total would come out to be 75 dollars. I looked at my written receipt and low and behold, there was a charge for 14 extra dollars for the "10 minute massage" she gave me. I spoke with the receptionist and said "I was never informed that the massage would cost extra. It was in no way made clear or even suggested as an extra service that would cost me extra. She suggested it as a way to pass time." The receptionist responded to me: "I can't take the charge off. She DID ask you if you wanted a 10 minute massage right?" I said "She motioned to the massage station and offered to give me one while I waited." He responded "But she did ask you if you wanted the massage." I gave up fighting with him and proceeded to pull out 140 dollars from an ATM to cover the 130 dollars paid between myself and my friend (we only ever asked for 2 gel manicures) It's unfair to deny customers transparency when it comes to extra services. I've had tons of manicurists who have thrown in freebie massages and special treatment with no extra charge. Those who were offering extra charge would ALWAYS tell me upfront (I mean if people at chipotle can tell you guac is extra, I'm sure these people could do the same) ---- The receptionist wasn't accommodating to our polite concerns and questions. Check out the picture of my friend's versus my own nails and see for yourself. I'm still shocked we were completely barred from getting a refund at least for my friend's nails. I know kids who could do better French tips with white out.

For a brief period of time they had scaffolding covering the front, which was carpeted. Being homeless in nyc, it made it a great place to sleep.

Hey ppl. It is ridicules place! I went to do gel manicure bc I couldn't make it to my regular place. The service are bad: they have only one gel company with like 10 colors to choose, the machines to dry nail is old and missing lamps in it, salon not using one time use supply for nails which in regulation by NYC!!! The master didn't even cut my skin around nail, she said its looks ok when I didn't do manicure for 3 weeks! Her hands was shaking while she was putting polish bc her boss scrimped at her bc next lady was waiting after me. This is worst experience in my life! I would never ever go back! And after all they asked me for 50$!!! When regular price is 25 with full manicure. I'm in shock.

I had a pedi and foot massage, I was at the salon about an hour, and my total was $84 without tip. A bit pricey IMO, but the service was relaxing.
