I barely get pedicures and manicures but after being in the field for three weeks for military training, I decided to treat myself. The old white receptionist at the front was incredibly rude and had an awful attitude. I booked an appointment and when I got there, they told me they wanted $115 for a gel manicure (solid color) with short tips and I said I’ll just take the pedicure. The pedicure was below average as it seemed like she was rushing to get me out of the door. I really just wanted a relaxing time and to take care of my very tired feet and it was anything but relaxing. I will never go there ever again.

Never get a manicure here! I've always been to places that soak your nails first before doing anything with your cuticles or hangnails, but this place did not. The lady just sat me down, shoved my cuticles around (which hurt) and painted my nails. That was it. I get my nails done for the whole process, not just the product. I'd recommend going elsewhere.
Update: one of my fingers is now red, puffy, and infected where se tore off a hangnail.

I loved the pedicure I got here! It was well worth the money, very reasonably priced. They let you choose the aroma bath scent, and when it's cold, they give you special pedicure socks that let your toes stick out! So cute.

I have been to Nails Plus in Shrewsbury one other time. My Granddaughter & I Both got Gel Manicures and my Daughter got reg. Pedi w/Gel Manicure we bought $100 Gift Certificate to get $20 off next visit. My daughter & I went for Reg. pedicures plus Gel Manicures. It was walk In Friday 10am...We Do together to have Quality Mother/Daughter time. We got to have Pedis together but had separate Manicures. I had 2 different people for Mani/Pedi....The Pedicure was fine until I had the woman digging deep into my left Big Toe, I had to pull away several times since it was deep digging...Niw I have painful swelling and infection I the same toe. The manicure was Okay but I have already had the layers of gel peeling off after less than 7 days. My gel manicures usually last 3 weeks if not 4....I am very disappointed with this visit and will not go there again for my Mom/Daughter bonding😔
