They declined to service her because she has Lupus. Currently, there is no cure for Lupus. Lupus is not contagious but it is hereditary. Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that causes your own body's immune system to attacks your own tissues and organs. Your immune system is constantly attacking your vital function organ and tissue. Do you understand what that mean !!!! If she has an infection from a small cut, her immune system is not responsive to an infection. The infection can spread all over her body, and that doesn't look good. The nail technician is trying to follow health protocol. Stop antagonize this people.

I'm not putting any stars because I've never been to this location. But I would like to comment regarding the lady they denied service to..... they are trained that if a persons skin is open they are to proctect them selves and others from possible contamination. How do the workers know the lady was telling the truth? They are just being precautionary. I know some one with lupus and unfortunately blister like wounds can appear.
I'm sympathetic to this women's feelings but the workers were just doing as they were trained.
Just think about it.... if you had no idea what was on this lady skin... would you service her? Maybe with gloves and extra towels but you'll still be cautious about seeping wound like blisters on the person you are serving.

How dare you with out question turn a woman away due to a non contagious skin disease. Inconsiderate and just plain mean. Your being blasted all over social media and I hope it continues. I avidly used the location in Bellingham wa. But NOT ANYMORE and I know many feel the same way. She’s living her best life and doesn’t need people like you making it difficult FOR NO REASON. shame!

Witnessed staff here deny a paying customer service because she has scars on her skin from a chronic illness. Didn't even ask about it- just flat out denied to serve her. I so disgusted. Based on the previous awful reviews, I can't say I'm surprised. Even so, this is unacceptable. The people responsible need to be fired, the rest of your staff re-trained, and an apology issued to this woman. Shame on you.

Service below average and staff just need to sell and the lady eas extremely slow. Will not come back even though I live very close.
