My daughter took my granddaughter to get a specific haircut and add a couple of sections of red to her hair. The end result was NOT the haircut shown in the picture and the strands of hair that were supposed to be a rich color of red were ORANGE! The girl tried to blame it on the fact that it was my granddaughters hair, because it was her first time ever having color. BS! I’ve seen girls go from dark brown/black to bright blonde or bright red! This girl simply messed up her hair and then charged $145 for it!!! My daughter didn’t say anything and just paid her. Even tipped her! I would NOT have paid if I had been there. And I’ll make damn sure she never goes back! Any place else would have offered to fix the color and not let her leave with ORANGE streaks!
DO NOT GO HERE FOR A SPECIFIC CUT OR FOR COLOR!!

This is an upscale salon. Though I'm not one to spend a lot, my hair needs special attention. I have curly hair, so I don't have to go in more than every 10 weeks. Curtis is an amazing stylist. He listens and adapts as my hair and needs charge.

I have a really crazy haircut that I've had a hard time finding hairstylist that are able to understand what I want. I have always been happy with the 5+ haircuts I've gotten here. Everyone I have had cut my hair has always been asking questions about what I want and really tries to understand what I want. However, Alicia (sp?) in particular was amazing. She took the first five minutes to hear me talk about my haircut and even asked a colleague advice on what/how to do my cut. I appreciated this about her a lot because asking for help doesn't shop incompetency, it shows that you're professional enough to ask someone how to do something right so your client has what they want. 10/10 service. I've never had my hair color done here, only cuts. They're $40 +tip (tax already included) which is an extremely reasonable price for a salon cut!

Sissy is my stylist and she is excellent. She has been at Hair Benders for many years and has several areas of expertise including color application.

My experience here was okay. Most of the staff were polite, although it being my first time there ever, I didn't realize there were three different levels to the building. I parked at the front door entrance when my stylist was actually on the second floor and had to walk half way around the building to get to my car when I was finished! Luckily it wasn't raining that morning! Maybe they could tell customers ahead of time which level their stylist will be on, so they can make plans to park closer.
