Harold is the best. Period. He's so good that I drive from Oakland to San Rafael for my appointments. Well worth the traffic and bridge toll.
I'm extremely picky about my nails - I'm Brazilian and usually only go to Brazilian manicurists for that perfect polish job. For my acrylic, though, I searched and searched for a good nail salon, always leaving disappointed with the shape or the thickness of the gel. A friend recommended Harold to me and after my first appointment, I stopped searching.
Harold is so friendly and accommodating. His salon is at his home, so he's basically available whenever you need. Just call or text him for a fast response. Harold does a beautiful job on my nails - he never cuts corners and always gets the shape exactly as I want it. This can take a little longer than other salons, but I'm all for it. The more detail-oriented, the better; and Harold certainly is. One of the most important things for me with acrylic is the thickness of the gel. Harold is a master at making the acrylic look natural, as if it's your real nail growing out of your cuticle. Extremely reasonable prices, too.
