Teena was very nice and knowledgeable! She answered all of my questions and gave genuine advice about the upkeep of my nails. The shop itself is adorable. Small but homey to make you feel relaxed. I will be returning.

I would give negative stars if I could. BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a groupon and scheduled online. I realized that I needed to book time before my appointment to remove the gel polish I had on. I called at 4:48 p.m. on Thursday, May 23rd as there didn't seem to be an opening online for me to schedule the polish removal prior to my 5:00 appointment on Friday, May 24th. We spoke for 4 minutes during which she stated that she did not have room in her schedule for polish remaval prior to my 5:00 appointment. I asked her to cancel the appointment and she said she would. I figured, "No big deal. I'll reschedule for another time."
The next day, I received a late cancellation notification. I reached out and she claimed I did not follow the 24 hour cancellation notification policy. Last time I checked, 4:52 p.m. Thursday is more than 24 hours from 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Despite reaching out to her, she insists that she will not be refunding my money. She knows this review is coming and I look forward to the untruths she will tell in her response.
I filed a formal complaint with groupon regarding her fraudulent business practices and will do the same with the Better Business Bureau. The money itself is not the issue. It is the unlawful charging of my credit card that is the issue. I am not a vengeful person but know my consumer rights. I also want to help other consumers avoid the same shady business practices.

I think that the lady who owns this shop is sort of nice, but I did not feel like a valued customer. I purchased the gel manicure on group on for $18.00. I thought it was a steal! At first, I called the owner and asked her if I can make an appointment (her number was through Groupon). Her demeanor on the phone was rushed and rude; more like stand offish and exasperation. She told me I need to make an appointment over styleseat.com. I realized that was my mistake as Groupon did explain that in the “fine print.” Then, I made the appointment for the $18 gel manicure and let the owner a few days later. She didn’t greet me when I walked in. She just stared at me and made me feel awkward then said, “hi what are you hear for?”. I told her a gel manicure through group on and she said to pick a color. I sat down, and did what I was told and within 15 minutes she asked me if I had a color while she was still working on another person. I said yeah and started rushing to get the color I wanted because I couldn’t choose between B13 or A25. Then the owner was like “Oh I didn’t mean to rush you haha you got plenty of time.” Lastly, I got my nails done, and she kept up with the conversation (although I had to lead the convo) and the gel on my nails are CRACKED! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! It will waste your time I promise you!!
