DO NOT GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS HERE! Please see the link to my youtube videos of the eyelashes BELOW! I have also posted photos to the pages gallery! Thank god this happened to me on a normal day and not the day before prom or the day before my wedding! Seriously this woman could ruin your special day! If she did this to me the day before my wedding I would have been absolutely screwed with no time to have them removed! I had "eyelash extensions" done by the lady in the photo for the Aloha Beauty Center's Yelp Page. Lisa Yen. She said she was certified, and trained. I showed her a photo of what I wanted done. This happened in December of 2015. Initially I was going to report her to state board, and I should have, but I was in the process of selling a home, moving, and taking care of a 1 year old child. I have had eyelash extensions done many many times. They are an actual extension of your eyelash, soft and feathery, much like your own, and are adhered one fake lash to each of your individual real lashes. What this woman does IS NOT EYELASH EXTENSIONS. She is not trained, she is not certified, she has absolutely no idea what she is doing. She took some kind of $1 Store black colored cement type glue and literally piled on a bunch of lashes to my lashes and stuck them together in huge piles. It is so hard because your eyes are obviously closed the whole time the service is being performed, so you have absolutely no idea what is going on. Everything seemed fine until I heard her pull out scissors and start snipping away at the eyelashes! I was completely appalled, and immediately started asking what was going on. I told her to stop whatever she was doing, and remove the under-eye bandages, and hand me a fan so I could open my eyes. Upon me finally being able to open my eyes I looked in the mirror and was almost immediately in tears. The woman had made me pre-pay, and would not give me my money back. I had to threaten to call the police to get my money back. I demanded to see what type of lashes and glue she was using. The glue was obviously not the glue that is used in professional applications of eyelash extensions. I spent $300 dollars having them soaked off professionally the next day, which was extremely excruciating and burned to no belief. I also was left with virtually no eyelashes. The woman who removed them explained to me that if Lisa would have used the appropriate professional glue that there would have not been nearly as much damage to my natural lash. But being that she used an extremely non-pliable cement like glue, it adhered very strongly to my natural lash causing me to lose over an estimated 80% of my lashes. Based on all of the licenses displayed in the salon, it appears that Lisa Yen is not even a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician, but only just the owner of the salon. I doubt that she is even legally allowed to be performing services on the public. I strongly urge you to not get any services done here. I still plan on contacting state board, I realize it has been over a year, but this woman needs to not be performing services that she is not trained to execute. I have also posted a warning to over 2,500 neighbors in my area of Oliver Road/Rancho Solano Area. Video #1 - youtu.be/rhjjgAhKcOI Video #2 - youtu.be/5Ht_jUnAZT4
