So I've had such horrible luck with finding a decent, respectable nail place in the Bronx. I use to go to the one on 161st and Sheridan cause that was all that was around (DON'T GO THERE) as well as a few places by 3rd ave. Anyway my girl goes here so I made an appointment with Coco. Let me just say that I will forever be a customer. It's a 20 min drive for me but it's worth it. I came in and Coco had me soak off the horrible set I had on. Underneath, my nails were a mess from the tech at 161 breaking off the previous set. She took care of my nails, put on the new set, filed them down thin so they weren't fat and clumpy and she made sure I stayed long enough to dry and kept checking. What I love is whether you walk in or make an appointment they acknowledge you right away. They ask you what you want and tell you EXACTLY how long you have to wait. I'm so happy and I'll post updates as I continue to go. Definitely worth the travel. Also, a full coffin set by me is $35 but they constantly nag you to do gel set which is $48. At Coco's they charge $25 for a full set and don't force gel down your throat.
