I have been to this location a few times and I have never had a problem. My experience has always been pleasant and the guy that is always there, I think he is a manager is always nice and friendly. However, today I did not have a good experience. I got my nails and toes done and they looked fine but when it was time to pay I realized I left my gift card in the car. I told the lady that I needed to run to my car and that I would be right back. I purposely left my jacket and shoes in the salon but I did take my purse because I didn't want to leave it around strangers. When I came back in a few of the workers where standing together talking. It didn't bother me but when I got to the counter the lady beside me informed me that they where talking and they didn't think I was coming back. I am a black woman. I don't like to pull the race card, but it made me feel uncomfortable and truthfully a little embarrassed. I don't think that if I was one of the white ladies there it would have been a problem. I will not be returning back to this location or any other location and I will be letting my friends and family know not to support this chain. I am a college student and I usually never pay over $25 for a manicure but because I liked the scenery and vibe at polished, I was willing to pay more. For now on I will just go somewhere else thats cheaper, does the same job, and doesn't stereotype different ethnicities.
"Well, how is this for a response"
First and foremost, you need to watch how you respond and communicate to people. You never know who you're talking to. Your response, to my comment was unprofessional and I see why your "business" is only rated a 2.6 and has bad reviews. Anybody that has been in this "business" before can obviously see that it is minority owned. That doesn't negate from the fact that the behavior was rude and just to assume that I wasn't coming back was INCORRECT. I simply needed to get my card out of my car. Your "business" isn't offering anything thats extremely special that will keep people coming back no matter what. There is nice decor and alcohol. I know plenty of places that serve alcohol and have nice decor. What's "shameful" is your lack of managerial skills. Any competent manger knows that is not the way to respond to a customer compliant. I'll make sure to post my "accusation of racism" on every review site I find. Have a good day.
(This review is in my opinion)

Nice atmosphere - however $105 was too much for a basic pedicure with gel polish and a fill in with gel polish. I typically go to nail salons in Ballantyne and Ive never paid more than $70 for comparable quality and service. It was a nice experience but my nails have honestly looked better, and it’s not worth the cost when you can get the same service at a significantly reduced price.

I normally never write a review, but this experience was so bad I had to. Made an appointment for a basic pedicure, which was $25. Not that bad of a price for this area, but from the time I picked my polish, waited on the water to fill up, to the time she was done was 12 minutes. Honestly if I just wanted my toe nails painted I would have done so at home. That's basically all she did and not to mention how bad it looked. The "lower leg massage" was maybe 30 seconds...for both legs. I guess they assume...nice decor and a free glass of wine will make up for it. Also, they only accept cash tips, which was not once mentioned to me. Worked out for me though because I only had $2 cash, which honestly she didn't even deserve, but hey, I'm a nice person. Moral of the story...stay away from this place.

I really am not the type to post reviews but this need to be said. Today was the first and last time I will ever come to this establishments. I'll start with the pros. The all out pedicure was amazing for $35. It was very relaxing and I also enjoyed the complimentary drink offered. The nail tech did a great job on my shape but unfortunately things took a turn when it was time to pay. The nail tech said my total was $95 dollars. I have NEVER paid $95 for a full set with gel polish and pedicure deluxe or not. The website had me thinking a full set with gel polish was $40. Nope they charge $25 extra for gel polish. Where on earth is there a $25 extra fee for gel polish. They are getting over on people just because they have nice decor. They don't even have a drying station for those who get regular polish! You basically have to wave your hands around and hope they dry in time before you leave. If you're balling and can afford this place go ahead.

If I could give this place NO star I would!!! All the wine in the world that they offer would not justify the excruciatingly horrible customer service I received here. I went here one afternoon for a fill and a pedicure. The nail tech recommended that I get a new full set Bc my current set was old (which I new but had been avoiding getting done). I agreed and she started to take my set off right there at the pedicure chair as a male tech was doing my pedicure. She took off my old set and did my whole full set in the same amount as my pedicure took. I paid a total of $155 for the services. I got gel and chrome on my nails and toes which was additional, plus coffin shaped. Here we are 10 days out and my nails are lifting horribly! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!! I called to speak to management (SUNNY) He was arrogant, rude, and downright unhelpful. He said that had I come back a week after then they would have done something but since it was two weeks out he was unwilling to accommodate me. He said I could come in and get a fill in for $20! I HAVE NEVER HAD MY NAILS DO THIS IN A MATTER OF 10 days. They look like 3 month old nails. No fill in will fix this. I have to pay to go somewhere else to get a whole new set! AGAIN! No wonder they got 2.7 stars in 73 reviews!!!!!!!
