This is my first review that I have written for any place in general. I created this account because the service I’m receiving from Nail Toepia is that bad. I came in to get gels on my fingers and my toes and the service was done by Amy and is not a cheap service. Within 2 days, the gels started peeling off so I returned to the salon requesting that someone fix them. No one was able to help me because Amy was not in that day and she is the only one that can fix it. This is understandable because Amy is at fault for not painting correctly and therefore she must be the one to fix since they are all privately contracted. I left my name and number and situation as requested on a sticky note and never received a phone call to have this fixed.
I called again today, a week later, and asked to speak to a manager. Still, nobody at this salon can help me, refund me, or fix my nails. Nobody can call or get a hold of Amy. The manager offered to charge me half price to fix my nails but I refused. I am not going to pay the salon as an entitiy to fix their mistake.
I am going to have to call back again this week to see if she ever turned up so that I can get a refund and go someplace else to have this fixed. I am unable to upload my photos, but I wish that I could to show any readers how badly they have cracked and peeled off.

I've been getting my nails done with Amanda for at least 12 years she's efficient, well priced and your nails will look exactly the way you want them done. The chairs set-up is perfect to have a pedicure at the same time as your manicure with with options for or gel and acrylic. It's a little tucked away the first time but it's adjacent to the CVS Pharmacy on Rancho Santa Fe parking in the lot.

Tina runs a beautiful nail salon. The girls are all very friendly. Nancy does a fantastic pedicure. Prices are great. I highly recommend.

I stopped in here yesterday because my normal spot was closed. I asked for a shellac American manicure. I asked 2xs for the natural, light white. She used bright white (French) anyway. I asked her not to cut my cuticles and she said she was trimming hang nails. She trimmed all around the nails (I have no cuticles) anyway and made my finger bleed. We were sitting right next to a man getting a pedicure. She dipped the bowl into HIS pedi water and put my hand in it!! I was in disbelieve she actually did it! She painted the top line so far up you could see my nail line underneath. I asked her to paint all of my nail tip...she then painted so far down I look like I have fake nails! Also, she only buffed one hand! I pointed out she didn't do the other and She didn't understand me. So I have bumps under the polish. The lines are uneven and crooked. I was so anxious to get out of there I just sat there and let her finish...which took forever! She kept screwing up and redoing them. I've never had this type of experience anywhere! I will never go back. Too bad because it was very clean and the chairs were very comfortable.
I wish I could post pics of my now swollen red cuticle (probably infected from the dirty pedi water) and the terrible paint job.
