I've been to Mudhoney a few times since my bff goes here. I've had my hair done by Jenny a few times. Most recently, I decided to bleach and tone my hair (black Asian thick hair) - and I cannot be more than happy with the results. Even my barber has commented on how awesome the color is. I initially went from just trying out the new color to deciding to keep it for a few months. Everyone in the salon is super friendly, and the place is definitely a NYC gem. Just a heads up this place is cash only.

People have stopped me on the street to compliment my amazing hair cut by Terra. I used to only go to Ouidad since I have curly hair, but they just do the same boring thing over and over... Terra is a genius with curly hair. It has style and personality and is gorgeous. I have bangs... I never thought I'd have bangs! I love my hair. Mudhoney is a unique and cool place to get a styling hair cut.

Only place I trust my hair to. They have 3 locations in SoHo, but love the one on Sullivan. Really comfortable to walk into for an old punk. Don't get me wrong though. They don't just have a knack for rocker styles. They just make any haircut you want rock for you!
