I usually love this place and this where I get my nails done regularly, but I had a guy whom i've never seen before do my nails. I wanted to try s&s and it looked like a 5 year old did my nails, they were ugly and he cut my nails so short that I was bleeding. Lucikly the lady noticed and saw I was unhappy so she re did them for me, but still wasnt worth the price I paid.

First off, this is going to be a long review because I'm just in such a good mood. Secondly, I just moved here from Houston and dreaded finding a new salon to go to. I have also worked for a nail salon before and had a horrible experience with the way they ran things and treated customers. I was early for my appointment and like the millions of times at my former job, the appointment or walk in before the next client ran into their appointment time. But they closed at 6 and I was lucky to have been given any appointment so close to the holidays. The gentleman that did my nails made me feel SO welcome the second I sat down and we had a conversation the whole time about anything and everything and when I tell you my nails have never looked better I mean I AM STILL STARING AT THEM BECAUSE THEYRE SO PERFECT! I brought a picture for reference on the shape and he did a way better job than the picture. This will be my forever salon.

My two friends and I came in on a Friday morning to get our nails done and pedicures before graduation. I've heard Top Banana is incredible, I was so excited to take my friend's from out of town to get ours nails done here. I have friends who come here religiously for their acrylics and their nails always look incredible, making my experience even more disappointing.
My tech rushed through doing my pedicure, then he rushed through my acrylic nails, leaving behind chips and bumps along with uneven nail lengths in my acrylics. The color looked good, so I ignored it. The next day, my pink nails turned brown. From what I know about acrylics, this only happens if something is wrong with the top coat or you touch chemicals. I took care to not touch anything that could have ruined the nails, so I know the latter isn't an issue. The experience was good and both techs were so sweet, but overall I paid too much money and gave too great of a tip for my nails to look so bad within one day of getting the nails put on. I wanted to start getting my nails done regularly again but this experience just makes me want to do my nails myself.

Horrible experience. Had an appointment and the guy wanted to do what he wanted not what wanted. Asked if i wanted to go somewhere elsr. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Awful experience.
