So I have had my taxes done at King Solomon Multiservice for at least 5 years now. I started going there because a former colleague of mine knows the owner, Paul, and recommended the place. The service has been great I would say. The other day I read some bad reviews on Google and it surprised me because that has not been my experience, until today.
I walked in and asked to have my taxes done. The person at the front desk said that they have 1 tax person there and that they had an appointment. He asked if I could wait so I asked how long. He said “I don’t know.” Wow, you cannot even give me an estimate? Am I supposed to say yes I will wait for an unknown amount of time? At this point I asked why they only had 1 person there for taxes when it is tax season.
A very rude woman that works there then stepped in to say that she would do my taxes. I was in her office for less than 2 minutes (she never asked me to sit down) when she said that they could not do my taxes because I did not have a form from the place that provides childcare for my son. I told her that I had their tax ID number and how much I had spent this year, the owner’s name, etc. I even brought my forms from the previous year that they had prepared. All the information was on the form from last year that they had prepared. She still would not do my taxes.
Like I said, I have been going to King Solomon Multi-service for years. My tax information is already in their system. Last year it only took about 20 minutes to do my taxes. This would have been an easy $100 for them because very little has changed from last year.
I drove 15 miles to this place to be turned away. Not only that but I know that I do not need a form from the childcare place. I just confirmed this with another parent who has had their taxes already done. So, that was either a deliberate lie or ignorance. Needless to say I will not be going there again and I do not recommend going there.
Update: my response to the owner
“our office always has a minimum of three tax preparers on hand to service incoming clients.” Not on the day I was there.
“the office was just opening its doors that morning” It was 5 to 10 minutes past 9am, your employees were not ready? Oh wait, 1 was.
“Upon further review, there was missing documentation that was mandatory to finalize the tax return.” First of all, how could you review the paperwork I have when I have it here with me? Second, I filed already and I did not need anything else! I used Turbotax and it was only $40, compared to the $96 you charged me last year. And, that was with a 20% discount.
This is what I get for going out of my way year after year to use your business. How dare you treat people like this and lie and then use a biblical name for your business.

Few yrs. Ago I stopped by King Solomon to renewal my Green Card!!... Ms. Veronica Alvarez come to my rescued... And easy as 1,2,3!!... Then Time passes by and now ready to apply to my Citizenship!!. Once again Ms. Veronica Alvarez appears to my picture!... Well after almost 2 yrs. Finally I became US Citizen this past September!!.. Thanks Ms. Veronica Alvarez and King Solomon staff!!... Muchas Gracias Amigos!!!!!!

Don't COME here worse service ever>. She failed my family 2 applications for immigration . If she did good job at the filling the forms and work professional about my cases will never happened like that( denied ) because something wrong with the form they done. now she told me go to see the lawyer to take the case back, the one Kingsolomon already took my money then now she and the manager asked me to go out to ask for help the case. DONT COME HERE.

My son began coming to King Solomon for income tax service and now my family and I have been coming to do our taxes here for the past 5 years, They are upfront with prices and fees. Recently, we have purchased health insurance from their office and their staff was very informative about our options. I will continue to come here for their honesty and excellent service.
