Great first experience! I was fortunate enough to have Amy work me in to her packed schedule, and I couldn't be happier! Great conversation, great music, and most importantly, great cut and color!

Took my daughter there to get her hair colored for the first time. The people there were very friendly and laid back and they did a great job. Katherine was very informative and was very skilled, my daughter is looking forward to going back in the future.

The first impression was amazing. I scheduled my appointment with Amy and she was awesome. She recommended Nick as my stylist and I was able to get an appointment the next day.
Everyone was very nice and the atmosphere is great. I had an appointment for 1 and Nick didn't get to the shop until 12:59. I guess Nick and I had a misunderstanding when I said I wanted an asymmetrical bob, and that I specifically do not want it stacked or a straight broom stick cut. He originally finished cutting my hair and it was all the same length around, maybe even a little longer in the back? So I very awkwardly told him that wasn't what I wanted and asked if he would bring the back up. It was just a very awkward situation. He kept his cool and went back to cutting, he asked me before I left if there was anything else I wanted him to touch up, and I pointed out that one side felt "chunky" (the right side which is visibly longer) to which he agreed and started haphazardly going at the area with thinning sheers. He asked again if there was anything else but at this point he had another appointment waiting and I honestly just wanted him to stop. This is the finished product. A visibly crooked/uneven and stacked let-me-talk-to-your-manager cut. Idk, maybe if we didn't have the misunderstanding it would have been different but ultimately pretty unhappy with this cut.

Love this place! Comfortable environment and very friendly staff. Nick tamed my terrible hot mess with an awesome pixie! Would totally recommend him to anyone. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

The environment is nice. Awesome, alternative style decor, good people, and an overall clean establishment. Will cut my hair and beard for me. I'm a repeat customer, and will continue to be so. Getting a nice haircut is always therapeutic, but there's something about knowing and feeling the care and attention being paid to you, that makes me leave The Electric Owl feeling Great!
